Trying Kinetic Fusillade and would appreciate help understanding supports.

I was looking at Palestron's build guide for the KF Heirophant and noticed that Elemental Damage with Attacks is a support gem.

The gem doesn't look like it does elemental damage, or am I completely missing/misreading something.

I would appreciate it if anyone can help gain a better understanding of this.

Wand skills and passives generate a lot of elemental damage and its, generally, the primary way to scale wand builds. I don't know that I've seen a pure phys wand build after the 2.0 patch

Personally I prefer power siphon over the the other wand skills, the vanilla version if we're scaling crit and the "of the archmage" version if we're scaling mana.

I'm running the same build and the idea is that the main skills scales off elemental attack damage.

The sources of elemental damage during leveling are from herald auras. Once you reach mapping, that transitions to either Anger or Wrath auras.

You're also looking for wands which add elemental attack damage with prefix modifiers that have
Add # to # [element] damage

Other gear can also have similar lines.

All of the above make up your base damage which everything scales off. Hope that helps.
