Console trade economy is broken
|
Im on xbox. I look up items to buy from async trade and theres maybe 50 available. I look at the pc trade and there is maybe 5000 available. Is it possible to let us console noobs trade against the full market? I feel like im playing SSF half the time with how bad the economy is.

From my experience, most players will only attempt to 'take' from the market and not 'give' to it.
So try to also put things up for trade. For a reasonable (=lower than PC) price of course, since there are fewer players than on PC therefore less supply and less currency. For the bulk currency exchange one can set the desired ratio - there does not need to be an existing exchange ratio. |

yes the SSF nature of having to craft your rares because there's literally nothing o the market gets tiresome.
Crossplay would be nice but apparently Sony really hates their customers and said hell no since they signed a contract a long time ago because crossplay was accepted. |

If you would play ssf you would have less stash tabs as merchant tabs don't carry over to that mode since this league ;( they just got removed after beeing there last league ;(

" I realize Sony has some issues with crossplay, but I think Microsoft does not. I really do like trading, but I feel pigeonholed into the strongest meta builds because anything niche is going to require some uniques that I just don't have the time to acquire. I play a lot, but I have a family with 2 kids and a job. A good example of my frustration is void shockwave. I would love to try this new support which costs 15 chaos currently on PC, but I am on xbox and there is only 1 of these for 6 divine orbs. It's a massive issue on xbox. |

It works on PoE2 apparantly, so I hope the inital issues with Sony are solved? |

" The Sony issue isn't about crossplay, it about crosspurchase. Even if we get crossplay, you won't have access to Sony-affiliated MTX (most importantly stash tabs) when playing on PC or XBox. And the reason for no crossplay in PoE1 has nothing to do with any of that. PoE2 was designed for crossplay from the ground up. PoE1 was not. It would be a TON of work for them to add crossplay to PoE1. | |

I meant cross trade, like the OP. Crossplay or shared MTX I don't care for.
