dodge roll problem

you might already know about this, took me a while to notice
exactly when and why. and even after i tried to adapt and held my comments. so I come from d2/sc2/poe1 and stutter step / retaliatory retreat, is a key aspect of gameplay. I have noticed that if you roll away from a pack, and prepare to retaliate against the pack you are rolling away from, that if your mouse courser hovers overtop of a monster for even a moment, that your roll will bend towards it. and the pack you were evading IRL (Evasion means not getting hit.... I do not refer to the mechanic "evasion" but the act of "not actually even getting hit at all by avoiding contact with hostile fire" dodgeroll is capable of sending me straight into the middle of a hostile force. I am struggling to adapt to the decades of training to avoid incomming fire, and immediately retaliate. I dont think this is intentional, how could it be? so i think its important to either fix it, or declare that no, you have no intention of fixing this and its just reality. adapt or die. it doesnt make sense to me. I think its an imperfection and that it is not intended. If it is not intended you should regard its correction as a high priority. As skill is being punished. if skill is deliberately being punished, the new skill becomes avoiding that punishment. which does keep it a game. but this a very abstract defense of the mechanic. illogical. but fantasy is fantasy. I know you have bigger problems to solve. but this one is irritating to anyone who rolls with the intention of retaliation. its insufficient. i know its beta, and i recognize its awesome. but put this on the list of things to fix. it might not be anywhere near as hard to fix as other things. I cant imagine it being anything other than low hanging fruit. easily plucked. so impressed by the work. keep it up. AgnosiousD#2205 님이 2026. 4. 1. 오후 6:59:52에 마지막으로 편집 마지막 추천 2026. 4. 1. 오후 6:53:55
