im just starting out and dont have the expensive rings yet, how does the taming compare for its price ? its 3ex right now

At 3EX for a Taming, I'd buy some opals and chaos spam them.

no clue how to craft stuff, what would i be looking for

Is the Jewel Area on the OP messed up? Should I be using Volley Fire jewel at all?

Wand is out of my budget I think I'll stick with piscator for a while, was thinking maybe gloves ? But I'm afraid to lose a lot of dps since thunderfist gives a lot of flat dmg and the added lightning gem... maybe rat's nest with +1 projectile ?? Have about 20ex budget left

If I were you I would look for some higher flat lightning damage on your rings and definitely get an amulet with flat lightning.

Possible upgrades:

Rats nest (you can find them for 15-20ex, even a good rolled one if you're lucky, just keep searching poe trade)

More and better abyss jewels, they add an insane amount of damage.

Get a pair of 2 socketed tombfist gloves, about 1.5-2.5ex

Rings and amulet with more flat lightning damage

Piscator wand with culling strike


Personally I would put 1-2ex into getting some poorjoy maps + sextants, get lvl 90-ish. Spend another 3-5ex on jewels. Spend about 3-5 ex on rings/amulets. Get a wand with culling strike.

This should bump your damage by a good amount and still leaving 6-10ex. Farm for rats nest and you should be good :)

Rings and amulet, get more crit/crit multi/flat lightning and/or ele %

Thanks for the build i completed all atlas and killed corrupted guardians but still cant do shaper.
Dps is just fine but im getting insta killed by orbs and stuff, i have 4750 hp. What should i upgrade next ?
