(3.16) NERFED DO NOT PLAY THIS Raider Archmage BF/BB [CHEAP, Tanky, HCSSF viable, (100m+ dps)

Just found our about brittleknees hierophant variant, how do you guys think this compares to the raider version here?

Before we start the league can anyone fast reply, why this build is 2 button build ?

What exactly is the second button ?

I mean you cast vigil strike or something to activate fortify and spam blade fall ?

Can anyone explain in small lines how this build is played ?

Uhh Bladefall and then Bladeblast is 2 buttons, which is the main skill setup

Doesn't it feel clunky to blade fall and blade blast ?

i recently did, the filter isn't really that important i just play with my normal end game one. it's just for sockets.

you cast bladefall and then cast blast blast to detonate the blades. It's not that clunky because of our built in cast speed.

A LOT Slower, much less tanky, clunkier and similar damage. I wouldn't consider hiero for BF/BB starters.

Struggling a little jus before the start, was checking on last league PoE ninja and it seems like Chieftain's manages to get a big boi dps while the raider build i could find don't hit the 1M dps.

Did i miss something?

- How do you usually manage all the utilities? on paper it does feels overwhelming with Arcane, Sigil, Desecrate + General, VRF, and actually attacking.

Im a bit worried about the DMG potential here as im seeing ~140k average hits in GG Gear while i have seen inquisitor PoBs with roughly 900k avg on blade blast or hieros with 500-600k.
I know this is originally a HCSSF build, but i am just wondering if it would be possible to reach similar numbers without gutting the defense aspects of it. Still going to start with it as the defenses are just freaking insane and i hate dying, even on softcore.

The Chieftain Version got hit by the nerf since it was fire convert.
