For your discussion I'd like to introduce a perfect leaguestarter, which can be upgraded and min-maxed to the endgame. P.s. Geofri's devotion grants us elemental warding skill, which converts it's physical damage into random element. We use elementalist to allow all our damage to ignite. Rotblood promise ring makes us always cursed, while elemental warding makes us unaffected by curses. Fan the flames cluster jewel node spreads our ignite all over the enemies, giging us insane clearspeed. We stack life, fire damage over time multipliers and resistances. I'll advise to get more life regen nodes on each part of your equipment to have decent sustain (I was too lazy to do that). We channel cyclone to proc elemental warding and to cast storm brands. Then we swap our weapon to searing tocuh --> after that elemental overload procs and searing touch gives us even more ignite from elemental warding. ____________________________________________________________________________ 1) Pros

GEMS: Main support gems are socketed into the geofri's devotion (see PoB) We use cyclone with CwC and strom brand to proc our elemental overload, when swapping weapon to searing touch, getting even more ignite. I toyed with this build in ultimatum and it actually scaled pretty smoothly into red maps. Got bored with the league before I ever really min-maxed it. I’m surprised you find that it is still viable after ignite builds got needed pretty hard.
