Need advice: Returning player, but build totally resetted

I used to play in metamorph league. Most of my skill tree has been reset, and the character entirely unplayable.

I want to relearn the game, but the barrier is just too high as I have forgotten most of how the game works.

It seems the build I was playing and gear might be totally irrelevant now.

Really appreciate some advice on what build might I be able to convert to so I can relearn the game

The game has changed so much since metamorph that I strongly recommend that you just start a new character in scourge league.

Play through the campaign and relearn the game.

Choose any build you want.

Selfishly, I also recommend you try my build guide, its a minion build guide and features a minion that did not exist in metamorph, the Absolution minion. (introduced in 3.15)
