Stone Golem Elementalist vs Baron Zombie Necromancer? Which build is better?

I'm deciding between the two (Opting out of Carrion goelm because I want to be able to see what's going on during fights without too much combat VFX) and was wondering if someone could give me the pros and cons of each.

I heard that zombie is cheaper but also weaker. How are they both with about 50EX spent on each in mid game? Do zombies still clear faster than stone?

Baron for sure. Stone golem dps is low. You can have better clearing with explode chest and gravebind on AG
