Masterful Form versus +Frenzy charge Crucible node

I did spend the last 2 weeks farming up for crafting a shield for my standard Crown of Eyes/Replica Farrul Flicker striker, and now that the base is done I'm suddenly wondering if the crucible node that says "-1 to Max Endurance Charges, +1 to Max Frenzy Charges" will actually work with Masterful Form?
I added it in PoB and it doesn't recognize the extra charge, but if taken literally it should.
Can anyone confirm this actually works or of it's just a PoB issue ?
