Crackling Lance Inq LF Help

Hi. Can anyone help me with crackling lance build I use. Didn't play PoE in like 6-8 seasons lot of things have changed not to mention I always used to play melee but they are dead now. Not sure what I can do to improve dmg and surv. Is it even worth doing or maybe if possible change for other build like Penance Brand. What should I change then gear wise. Thx for help
