There is something I don't understand about conversion in poe, if we convert 100% of our physical damage to chaos damage with unholy might and are using covenant for the level 29 added chaos damage support, then why do we use physical damage support gems linked to our zombies? Shouldn't we use chaos damage support gems since we converted all of our physical damage to chaos damage?
We use void manipulation to scale chaos damage.
You use melee phys to scale the base phys damage that then is converted to chaos.
So both are being scaled that way.

Ops sorry, didn't see the void manipulation gem. So the skill gem physical damage mutliplier comes before the conversion?

I am not sure exactly what the order is of the conversion, I just know that it works.

You dont want to have absolution in a link together with skeletons and zombies.
