New Player - Need Help with defense options for ssf slayer

This is my first time getting to maps. I am playing as a SSF slayer and right now I am starting to have some problems with my defenses.

I am doing tier 9 maps and some special/unique mobs and bosses 1 taps me. Any tips/tricks for a new player? My build is below and I appreciate any input.

The thing that stands out to me is that you could benchcraft life on your rings, belt, and shield.

And I might be missing something but it seems like your accuracy is really low?

Consider upgrading your body armor.
While the Tabula is great for leveling, it offers no defensive stats and becomes a liability beyond white maps. At this stage, investing in gear with actual defenses will make a big difference in your survivability.
