How do you guys feel about the amulets/rings that have 25~35% minion damage? Since it's easy to cap our resists we could use one of them to up our damage a bit if needed.

With regard to the amulets, you have to remember what you'd be giving up which in this case would be either a Jinxed Juju or an Aul's Uprising.

The Jinxed Juju has buffs to both Auras and Curses, so that alone would already surpass the damage bonus you'd get from the minion damage affix. That's not even considering the 10% damage mitigation from Spectre Over Matter you get from it.

If comparing with Aul's Uprising, you're going to be giving up an aura (Wrath, Zealotry, or Haste) which is also more beneficial then minion damage affix.

The affix on rings should be good though.

I never thought about using an aul with wrath reserves no mana in the v2 setup, with a free aura you can use something zealotry or vaal haste for more damage, ty for that info haha. I'm just using a generic rare amulet with life/att rn so I didn't consider my options that much.

Btw, between jinxed and aul's, aul's would still be better but more expensive right?

I am really glad you asked this because I spent hours comparing the two things (Aul's and Juju) last week and I'll give you the rough numbers I came up.

So we keep in mind the curse effect/aura effect of Juju with average rolls on them.

Aul's (WRATH OR ZEALOTRY) gives approximately 15% more damage than Juju cuz it enables you to run another aura (the one you're missing). However you lose about 6% eHP from losing the 10% mitigation from Juju, this eHP loss is of course much more if you're running the Haste Aul's which does not give bonus Maximum ES.

Got ya, another downside of the juju is that it doesn't give life right? It's just 1c tho, which is very good. I maybe have underestimated that amulet a bit.

Correct, my calculations for the eHP include both Life and ES, again it's a roughly 6% eHP loss going from Juju to a Wrath/Zealotry Aul's.

Edit: I'm only getting about 68/42% block with both offering and the flask, what am I missing?

Still having a problem with this fkin Vaal Omnitect challenge. I got a Tempest Room III. Went to the Boss, but he didn't cast that blue waves to get the light debuff, temple was level 79. Is there some level restrictions about these blue waves that the Boss is casting, I just can't figure out what I am doing wrong with this challenge...

And how I can get rid off Alva? One time I tried log out and log in and she wasn't in Boss room anymore. But today I did that again and she was there, and little by little she is killing the Boss and messing with me around that kill...

Any help would be much appreciated! :)

Sounds about right, I have 72/42 cause my shield has 4% more block than yours.

You need to have Tempest (tier 1 to 3 doesnt matter) and Lightning room (t3 i believe).

He will cast the lightning wave on the 2nd phase (after the invul phase). If you kill him too fast it wont happen. Use Speaker Wreath to not kill him, and wait till he does the lightning, and make sure you step in all the tempests that appear.

I like using a rare amulet with minion damage.

Hm, I see, why then all people saying that having Tempest Room is enough for that challenge when you actually need AND a Lightning Room..? Pf :)

And is there a way to get rid of Alva and preventing her killing the Boss when I was trying to get these two debuffs?
