3.7| Stress Free PoE - SLOW-MO ZOMBIES |Clear the Atlas with YOUR Items at YOUR Pace (SSF & Co-op)
" Hmm, this question kinda makes me want to make a Cyclone+Cast while channeling+Arc build. Because Arc will chain to ~a lot~ of enemies if you have the right gear and gems; you could easily have an entire screen length in front of you char proc EE via Arc while swooping in with Cyclone while your minions follow you around like janitors. Doktaduck, can I ask if you are focusing much on Zombies? If not, you could put them on gloves, helmet or boots with just Minion Damage, Melee Phys Damage and Minion Speed, then grab a Snakepit ring to put in the right slot for @2 chaos, a Gloomfang amulet for @3 chaos, a cheap 1 socket non-corrupt helmet with the enchantment "Arc chains an additional time" for @8 chaos, a 3-link Touch of Anguish claw for @4 chaos and a Tabula Rasa with "+1 to Socketed gems" for about 30 chaos. We'll max the quality of the Helmet with 20 armorer's scrap, use some jeweler orbs until it has 4 sockets and then use fusing until it's 4 linked. That's usually doesn't take more than 10 to 15 of those. Then we just need to use some chromatic orbs to make it have the right color sockets. Put Cyclone + Cast While Channeling + Arc(lv 21)+Spell Echo + Chain Support + Empower lv 4) in the Tabula Rasa. That gives you an effective lv 26 Arc that gets cast twice every 2 seconds or so and chains up to 14 times each. The Arc gem will only cost @10 chaos, while the Empower gem would be 3 exalt. Instead, buy 4 to 7 lv 1 Empower gems and keep 1 in the armor and the rest in your second weapon set. When they have reached lv 3, use a vaal orb on each of them. You have a decent chance of turning one of them into a Lv 4 Empower. The lv 1 Empower gems can be purchased for 1-2 chaos each, for a total of 8 chaos max. Lv 2 Empowers can be purchased for @5 each for a total of 35 chaos max. I've managed to corrupt about 1 in 20 of my gems to a higher level. That's MUCH more affordable than buying it at level 4 or even level 3. Holy crap this got wordy quick. Anyways, I hope someone finds my rambling useful. " Thanks WoD. I did go for Hatred + Charged Dash (CD) + Ball Lightning. Seemed to do the job pretty well, But I wasn't a huge fan of CD just was clunky for me. Tried Shield Charge for Movement and I did like this much better. Then within 1 hour of running/testing I got this Mon'Teguls Grasp which allowed me to change back to fire/consecrated ground (CG). So the little experiment with Earendel's Embrace and lightning damage seems ok, but not as strong as CG/Fire... |

" Hi MZ, thanks for those ideas. I do like lightning damage :) while more fun IMHO it just seems to be lower than fire to me.. I have mostly followed WOD's build so Zombies are fairly core, though picking up my new scepter means I only have 5 now instead of 10.. Not a problem though, just means I have to use the skeletons more often than I was for trash. I like your thought on Arc though. It would be interesting to see how viable this is at the start of a new season considering the item specifics to maximise (another reason why WOD is so good for a new player - that lack of requiring specific gear) As this is my first run in POE, my Chaos/currency is very low so I can't test your build this season.. I'll see how I go in Blight I do have one question though: how does this "Tabula Rasa(TR) with "+1 to Socketed gems" happen? I had a pretty lucky RNG last night with lots of nice uniques, one drop was TR, but mine has no modifiers at all on it.. with your statement does that mean I can craft modifiers on TR? I'm still only wearing a 5L chest, but I need the resistances, so don't think I can use TR now I'm mapping... Doktaduck#9517 님이 2019. 8. 21. 오후 9:04:55에 마지막으로 편집

DoktaDuck,
Yeah, I only played PoE for a few hours back when it came out on the Xbox One back in 2017 and hated the way it played, or maybe just the league at that time, so playing Legion on PC was my first real run through of PoE as well. I just happened to stumble upon mbXtreme's YouTube video of an 75% IIQ MF Assassin Shield Charge + Herald of Ice + Herald of Lightning build that was somewhat doable with gear I already had and cheap low-level jewelery as I played through the story until I had enough currency to buy the specific gear for his build, which then made the story trivial. Sadly, I need to level that build up to make use of it while mapping, but I want one of my characters to hit 90 before the end, so I'm running my Necro with 2 each of Perandus Signet rings and The Supreme Truth maces, a Chitus' Apex that I switch out for a Bone Helmet when I need to clear a rare map. I should be able to hit in about 60 hours or so. Edit: "how does this "Tabula Rasa(TR) with "+1 to Socketed gems" happen?" You take a regular Tabula Rasa, which always has 6 linked white sockets and no modifiers, and corrupt it with a Vaal Orb and hope it gains the mod. Not overly risky IMO, as the Tabula Rasa has no modifiers to lose in the first place, so you aren't going to nerf it by taking the chance. Additionally, since it has 6 linked white sockets already, the Vaal Orb won't roll to change a socket to a white one, so you've got a good chance of gaining something. I've Vaal'd 3 different Tabula Rasa and 1 of them gained a mod. The other 2 just gained the "Corrupted" tag. I got a lot of my currency by trading. A couple hundred wisdom scrolls will get you 1-2 chaos, and they drop a lot seeing as they are the base currency. Portal scrolls are worth about double and drop almost as often. WOD, I've Yello's "Oh Yeah" playing in my head because the options are so drool worthy! I so want that Meat Shield Support for my zombies! My Necro always feels too squishy. I'll put them on a 4 link with Minion Life and Fortify, and then put my Skeletons with Infernal Legion Support to corral the mobs into place for my Frost Sentinels to destroy and I do like the idea of having them target bosses via Death Mark Support. I always take Minion Instability if I'm using skeletons anyway. I think I'll need to switch out the Cyclone and Hatred combos for a Arc combo and Summon Skeleton + Summon Raging Skulls + Spell Totem Support link up instead, while switching out Summon Stone Golem for Summon Carrion Golem. So, I'll end up with: Raise Zombie+Meat Tank Support+Minion Life+Fortify Summon Skeletons+Summon Raging Spirit+Spell Totem Support+Infernal Legion Support+Death Mark Support+Feeding Frenzy Support Raise Spectre+Spell Echo Support+Greater Multiple Projectiles Support+Death Mark Support Arc+Chain Support+Empower Support+Spell Echo Support using the Chain setup I mentioned to DoktaDuck only using Gloves, Boots or Helmet with "+1 to Socketed gems" Summon Carrion Golem+Feeding Frenzy Support+Minion Life+Minion Speed+Death Mark Support+Fortify on a Two-Handed weapon (or on an Oni-Goroshi with Enduring Cry+Immortal Call+Steelskin on a shield...) Here's hoping that they all become permanently added to the game! MasterZoen#4510 님이 2019. 8. 22. 오전 5:39:45에 마지막으로 편집

Hi WOD,
Thank you for this build, I am having a lot of fun with it. Love my Zombies. I am level 41 and have been using Fireball to get the Zombies going, as my main attack, instead of melee since I started the build. The build is not set up with all the gems and gear according to your specs yet, but will be once I acquire them. My question is, do you see a problem or conflict using Fireball with this build once it is set up using your specs? Thank you for all you do. I appreciate it. rateyesbig#1783 님이 2019. 8. 22. 오전 2:44:04에 마지막으로 편집

" Don't bother with Summon Holy Relic if you aren't using a melee skill since it only functions when you hit an enemy with an attack. I'd suggest adding Summon Phantasm Support to your Fireball in it's place. This will give you more minions fairly often when you manage to kill a mob, albeit temporarily, that can attack at range. It was an absolutely life-saving support when I first started playing and was using the Freezing Pulse skill. Since you aren't doing melee, I'd suggest putting Melee Splash Support on your zombies. Maybe replace Minion speed? What do you think WOD? MasterZoen#4510 님이 2019. 8. 22. 오전 5:20:46에 마지막으로 편집

Do you plan on updating for 3.8?

Hi WOD,
Another question please. In your boots you have the gem Tectonic Slam. In your video you are doing a spinning attack at times. I don't see a spinning gem in your gear set up? What allows you to do the spinning attack? Thanks. |

" "Hey Creeper_92 (this is 3.7's thread), Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you like it and that it suits your lifestyle. It's the same with me; I just want to sit down and play to relax. The new changes look cool hey? With this guide, I typically don't put in levelling suggestions because the main skills are available so early in the game. So if people don't want to use the skills of the build right away, they are welcome to choose their own. That being said though, even if I had a levelling section, I'd likely take it out for 3.8 as minions are getting such a big re-work, that levelling with Zombies may actually be worthwhile for the speedy players. I'll be keeping it in mind though as minion changes keep coming. Thanks again for the kind words. I appreciate you taking the time :). https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast
