Why not Vaal Pact?

Can anybody tell me, why my CoH +Assasins Mark + Chain + SA not work ... I gain just the Frenzy Charges from the Blooddance Shoes but no Curse from Assasins M. and no Trigger Effect from Chain and SA??


Im a little confused .. whats wrong ? Im LvL 56 with 35% Crit ...

Using Frenzy - PCoC (Power Charge on Crit) solves the issue, and allows you to build both frenzy and power charges on bosses.

That's the exact reason I use only 1 setup to build charges, and curse at the same time:
Frenzy - GMP - Chain - PCoC - CoH - Assassin's Mark

You need the extra 6L though....

If you're using Frenzy+PCoC to generate both types of charges in a boss fight; wouldn't a defensive curse like temp chains or enfeeble to make the fight safer be a better choice vs bosses?

That frenzy setup he is using is pointless in boss fight you are using very weak attack 3+ times to build charges. Instead you could just use frenzy pcoc and 4 dps adding links. Frenzy is stronger then ts against 1 target if you have it linked correctly, then you have a normal chain split arrow coh to use 1 time to a apply curse or manually curse. The amount of time spent building charges with weak frenzy you could of just killed the boss using proper frenzy without AM applied.

Are you 1 shotting the monster? And you are using split arrow to attack to apply the curse? There is no trigger effect you must use split arrow to attack a group to apply the curse from coh. Then go back to your main dps skill to kill them. This is why I prefer herald of ice over herald of ash with coh and curse of choice, so i dont have to try juggle frenzy, blood rage, enduring cry and split arrow. The curse will just apply as i use tornado shot and i just need to hit enduring cry and frenzy occasionally.

With the leech changes in 2.0 and the change to Ondar's/no CWDT setup, how are you sustaining reflect without EC/Coil?

Awesome guide . May I ask is it that the gem set-up for tornado shot in 1.3 (tornado shot - added fire - physical projectile damage - faster attack - gmp - increase critical damage ) does not work on 2.0 any more ?

After 2.0 im getting 1 shot by almost any thing..
