I have a ranger that I want to respec in standard. Is this still uber viable do you think? Has to be uber viable (even if gear is expensive) to make sense since we have total respec. :)

I use a selffound ias life dual res pair that gives a lot of survivability. Malis is crazy dps but gives up too much. I did get these new unique gloves last night which may be interesting for a cold dam user

Wouldn't using CoH with Herald of Ice or Thunder + Assassin's Mark be superior to the Split Arrow setup, since it does it automatically?

You can get all your res through jewelry and your chest. DOn't need it on your gloves. And I'm only lvl83 and I have 3.7k hp. supposed to get up to 4500 at lvl93. How much more life do you want? Look at my gear, only life mods I have are on my chest and my rings I believe.

Yes, it works. The secundary effect of the herald will apply the curse to enemies hit by that effect. But using Herald of Ice/Thunder would probably mean dropping Herald of Ash because of mana issues (provided you're also running Hatred or Grace). In my opinion Herald of Ash is a must have. It greatly increased your clearspeed because of the high damage secundary effect. Another downside to linking it to Herald is that you actually need to kill something first for it to apply the curse to another enemy. It's therefore less usefull on bosses.

Though you can always give it a shot, and see how you like it.

I feel like the difference between Ash and Ice isn't that huge, especially with a non-mirrored Harbringer. Furthermore, I feel like the difference in clear speed will be pretty substantial. With CoH + SA, you have to use it before every pack so you can use your main skill. However, with CoH + Herald, you can just spam your main skill all the time.

I only have personal experience with HoT + CoH back in 1.3 when you could run both Heralds + Hatred, so I haven't tried just HoI + Hatred. I'll test it out and see how it feels, since HoT also applies a lot more than HoI.

I am at 4700 health at level 90 which was a lot pre 2.0 but not enuff post. I am shooting for 5,5++

so i run with herald of ice + hatred

Reduced mana no longer works with Aura's.
The 'Enlighten' skill gem can now be used to reduce mana reserved from aura's. Though only by 12% at level 4, and it's stupidly expensive.

Warlords is no good for boss you wont always have trash to kill for endurance charges already tested you lose immortal call when you need it most for big spike boss damage trash leeching is fine with the way you leech from multiple sources now in 2.0.
Personally going to drop 4 points from like frenzy charges to grab Vaal pact, leech is just way to slow to start sometimes between taking both leech clusters and a flask i cant maintain my hp against incoming boss damage sometimes so I'll move 3 leech and a frenzy charge i guess to grab Vaal pact and see if its a better solution, dps is so high anyway i dont think 2 frenzy charges will slow me down. If that dont work I'll have to sell my body for some acuity...
If anyone can map a better skill path to grab Vaal pact without losing 4 points would be great.
