It doesn't in 2.0. That is included in the shotgun affects that got removed. TS will NOT hit one target more than once anymore. They confirmed this, the video is no longer accurate. Split Arrow CAN hit the same target more than once with chain in the linking, assuming it hits two targets...that is why everyone in the beta believes split/chain is now better than TS.

You will need a single target attack now....Frenzy with PCoC is probably the best choice.

It has been explained many times before, but I'll explain it once again. The nerf to shotgunning does NOT apply to Tornado Shot. Why? Because if never shotgunned in the first place. The initial arrows could never hit 1 target multiple times. The secundary effect of TS however CAN still hit 1 enemie multiple times since it is not affected by the nerf to shotgunning. In other words, TS mechanic has not changed, and is still as powerfull as shown in the video.

Also, official post from GGG: "Tornado Shot (and all other arrow skills) already have the non-shotgunning behaviour. This change will have no functional effect on Tornado Shot."

I am trying to make ice shot + lmp work in 2.0 in conjunction with hypothermia. Am I right I thinking that hypothermia doesn't really help in boss fights due to the fact that the minimum chill duration threshold (300ms??) is unlikely to ever be met when using ice shot vs bosses?

Hey, I loved your guide back in 1.3, but after the 2.0 nerf, I literally leech nil...
My dps dropped from 10k to 3k on tornado on your setup, and I cant leech ANYTHING to sustain my life.. I'm level 77 and i cant survive 4 seconds in a level 66 map.....

I've got a 70% rats nest, 250dps crit bow (5l), 5l 1k eva chest piece, Drillneck, tri-res boots, tri-res gloves, tri-res belt, dual res + crit rings, dual res amulet... got well over 3k hp...
My resists are capped at merciless, and i still see my HP disappear in 4 seconds...(Spamming pots)

Defense is the new offense in 2.0. See my gear and tree above. I can still run most maps without too much difficulty (have tried up to the new l77s) but the game has changed. No more face tanking - you will need to stick and move, dance like a boxer. Utilize the new lockstep.

Drop the rats nest and get a nice ev lfe res helm. Priority is life and leech will need to be planned out well, esp if u want to try a reflect map.
