The point doesn't concern you as you don't go through Balistic Mastery ;)
It's true that it's not a very good notable for bow build, and the pathing arount is quite crap, but the other option that preserve damage (which MortalKombat3 doesn't advocate) is very similar:
Start with Balistic Mastery: tree
32% increased bow damage
15% increased projectile damage
20% projectile speed (not such a bad mod whith slower proj being used on single target. That may also be the reason why the 6/10 node in fury bolt cluster is preferred over the 10% proj damage node)
28% attack speed
8% move speed.
Start without it: tree
50% increased bow damage
31% attack speed
6% move speed.

I actually meant my CURRENT tree i play with (you can see it on my Duelist, for Ranger it will be even better) and NOT the one i made for Lioneye's Fall.
My current tree has more HP and life regen, than Neversink's tree even had.
And as i said, i still think my current tree is better exactly because of that reason.
Sorry, i havent seen ANY bow guide, that utilizes Lioneye's Fall well (there was one, but i feel it sucks). I made a decent tree for it myself, and tested charge generation on crit (on Standard). It was good enough to keep charges up all the time, but not enough for CWDT-IC combo, i think.
Sadly, the tree i got had considerably less hp and regen, so i decided to stay with my current build.
That's all story about it.
If one seeks for agressive build though, then my Lioneye's Fall tree will definetely be an option. I agree there should be a separate thread for it, but i can make it myself since i dont play that build.
It will be great if someone actually decides to make a GOOD build for Lioneye's Fall, using my tree, or maybe even a bit enhanced version of it.

Actually, i meant you should skip not just Ballistic Mastery, but also Aspect of the Eagle and Revenge of the hunted. Only skipped together, they provide a good boost to your build, allowing to pick other (more useful for my defensive playstyle) clusters.

To chip in on this interesting discussion about Lioneye's Fall: I'm playing a BoR-Rearguard-Glare Bowrauder using two Lioneye's Falls, one at the Stave slot (like yours) and the other at Golem's Blood. Don't intend to invest too much into it as I don't see it being endmap viable (it probably needs an additional corrupted Glare AND a similarly corrupted Rearguard to be competitive DPS wise). Probably stopping at 84. Just a fun way to level my maurauder after looting two Falls recently.
My grouse about the jewel is that its radius should be large; at least large enough to encompass the start of the mace cluster on the maurauder side and Master of the Arena at the duelist's.
Like your Lioneye's Fall tree build btw.

Yeah, it'd be cool if its radius could unlock the claw and dagger cluster into range, but I suppose they thought it might have been too overpowered. It's just niche, fun and not-so cost effective as it it now.
