Hello, everyone. I am level 86 TS Ranger using this build but I'm having extreme trouble surviving content. I'm playing the Flash Back 1 month. I have played about 15 hours over the last 2 days and the furthest I've gotten in to 86 was 5 bars.I am making no progress and it's getting quite frustrating. I'm brand new to Path of Exile (this is my first serious character) and I just don't know what to change in order to improve surviving. If anyone could recommend gear upgrades or gem combinations I would truly appreciate it. Here is my gear
I truly appreciate any help as it will help me to learn and understand the game further. I know the build is not the problem but my gear/being new so I'm not pointing any fingers :)

What is killing you or why are you dying? Bad positioning / one shot / etc?
In higher level maps you will need RR in your links somewhere (preferably RRR) for CWDT-Immortal Call imo, Increased Duration linked is a bonus.
How does your Tree look?
I have a feeling my positioning isn't the greatest but a lot of my deaths happen extremely fast. A lot of the Unique bosses are super dangerous to me and sometimes Bear Traps are the cause of my death.
Also my tree is exactly what is recommended from original post.

I just grabbed Vaal Pact. I'm not sure where to obtain CWDT IC in my gear. Which gem combinations would you recommend dropping and where? Chroms won't be the issue but I'm just not sure where to fit that in that. Thanks.

I was actually able to get in 3 Chromatics (Don't ask me how) I'm going to try this out with Vaal Pact now and see if anything changes on the survival end. Thanks :)

Take out all the extra gems you got and put them into a nice 6 socket bow in off hand for leveling :D
Since all 3 pieces of 4L gear you got are Evasion Based, RRR can be hard to obtain with Chromes.
Chest - 5L Main Attack links seems fine.
Can you get 5L Bow?
Somewhere, somehow, you probably want:
Hatred + Herald of Ash + Ice Golem
CWDT + Immortal Call (optional Increased Dura, doesn't need to happen immediately)
Blink Arrow + Increased Dura + Blood Rage
Other Utility Gems as you see fit. If I'm starting a temp league I want as soon as I can get, 5L+ main skill, 4L+ secondary skill, and then those 3L, 2L, and 3L configurations
Oh and buy an Atziri Promise for 1c
As far as getting a 5l Bow I think that's out of my price range for now. Are there benefits to having Hatred , HoA, and Ice Golem linked or would I just want them in my gear? Also, what's your view on Assassin's Mark? I could drop that and put a Blink Arrow in it's place for Increased Duration.
You do not have to link any of those Auras unless you got Enlighten Level 2+ and wanna save mana
Should have space to slot those in though in random gem slots
Assassin's Mark is good to use though (not mandatory but nice damage boost and power charges)
Okay I figured out all of the gems because I got a backup bow for leveling gems. Is there any chance you could check for obvious flaws in the gear I posted? Maybe some recommendations on improving? More so on Armour as opposed to the weapon because I don't think that's my issue (for now.)

Would try to get some Diamond Rings with Life and Flat Phys + decent stats
Amulet can get Crit Multi as well
It may be time to get a boot upgrade tbh, which will open you up into getting better jewelry, 25%+ MS with Tri Resist
Of course you want better overall rolls on your gear, but you got the right idea already (EVA, Life, Resists on rares, etc)

I know I've bothered you enough but I've been recommended by a few people now to get rid of Lioneye's if I can afford it. Is there any chance you could maybe give me a rough guideline on how to upgrade or what to look out for along with what gear changes would have to happen if I were to change? Thanks in advance.
