Hello i'm level 78 now and think i have to upgrade my gear now

i wanna have more str and int because i wanna use some gems i can't use atm
and what items need to be upgraded first?

I was wondering about the gem setup for Tornado Shot.

Why is PTL better than Added Fire for a slot space?

And why is it better go to Faster Attack rather than Added Fire?

I must have skimmed over it, but could someone kindly link me the updated HC talisman build, items to look for, etc please.

Why does the guide say to use alpha's howl with Queen of the forest, instead of rat's nest?

What makes Alpha + Queen so special?

Anyone having issues killing yourself on Elemental Reflect? I wasn't having issues at first, but now I've increased my damage so much I kill myself almost instantly.

I dropped Hatred, and picked up Haste to see if I can live through it. However its a big DPS loss, and I cannot use HOI w/ AM, which is even more dps loss.

Any other suggestions? I have 4300 HP & Arrow Dancer. Around 110k Tornado shot with all of my steroids up.

Hay, this is my first ranger build and need some help.

I use Lioneye's Glare atm, should i change to Harbinger? I really can't buy 300+ dps Hahbinger cuz i only have around 2 ex worth of currency (all together).

I am thinking about changing the chest to which will i 5-link it and get lioneye's glare with 5l to have both attacks (tornado and puncture).

I have only 26% crit chance with no buffs, if i switch to default harbinger it goes up to 37%, but the dps is much much lower. I don't have any reflect isuess atm.

I can't get rings and amulet with crit chance untill i get some res on chest.

Try changing to my augmented skilltree, it's designed to counter this problem.

You can use lionseye for quite a while. However, at some point once you can afford a good harbinger, you will get a nice DPS boost. (especially since it benefits from Rat's nest, Maligaros, Crit nodes, Power charges, crit stats on quiver and amulet....).

You can run grace+hatred (might need a level 2-3 enlighten and/or charisma/conquerer's jewek, grace has more evasion and alpha's has tons of evasion too. It's a nice synergy that provides a lot of defense and movementspeed and freeze immunity on top. Very good for HC.

AFD might be better than FA if you're only after the tooltip. However, it'll likely be a major overkill for most mobs (we're talking about a 6link here) and will only be good for single target attacks. In all other cases it'll result in a mobility loss and will require more shots for a full clear, which TS is already lacking in compared to LA-Chain builds.

With drillneck + poacher's aim + pierce gem you already have 94% pierce chance. As pierce is capped at 100%, you are only obtaining 6% pierce + 6% damage for 4 passive points. Even if you don't use poacher's aim, seems a lot of investment for little return (20% pierce/damage)."

You might be right, I'll have to overthink this and will likely change the skilltree accordingly. Though it is important to remember that a jewel socket can provide a lot of different bonuses.

So in the end it kind of comes down to is

the extra damage+pierce + another jewel > poachers aim + 4 nodes.

It actually might be.
