I need an advice, i hesitate about two options :


Hatred + HOA + HOI (auto curse AA) and Alpha's Howl.

or

Hatred + HOI and Rat's Nest.


It's like to choose between flat dps increase (HOA) and CC (Rat's)... :(

Rats Nest has a lot more to offer than just crit. Attack and movement speed are big as well. Imho it's probably one of the most powerful items in relation to it's costs. - So even though i know some people like Alphas a lot, i would always go for Rats Nest.

Question is, with my setup, does it worth to lose HOA and HA for RN ? That's the point.

How is this any different to the question in general? The question you are asking is, if another herald + alphas is better than rats nest, or? And i'd say no.
It was quite clear to me that you are talking about having less mana reserved to get another permabuff, because... well that is what is alphas made for.

I will try to compare both solutions in the future, you are probably right.

Looking for some gear optimization advice please. My paper dps pre-frenzy charges is in the low 20k range and the clear speed as it stands feels pretty fast. I really like the snake bite gloves so I will probably not give those up. I am open to swapping out my helmet for a Rat's Nest but the thought of redoing all of my jewelry to get the necessary resists and attributes makes me cringe. Finally, is it worth the cost to wipe the crit multi off my bow to multi mod it?

Only if you are ready to lose 4ex for gaining 10% CC, that can be good because it's the base CC on the bow.

i'm really gratefull for your extra windripper build guide. couldnt pick up too much new stuff for myself though since my build looks pretty similar already.

however, i have 2 questions: do you think its worth it to collect the "aspect of the eagle" and the "aspect of the lynx" notes?
have you ever tryed to link the LA with "innervate"? the onslaught bonus is really awesome i feel! i am using a 5-link at the moment and i feel its not really worth it now but couldnt it be nice with a 6 link?

i really appreciate an answer especially some thoughts on the "innervate" idea would be awesome!
