Hey guys,

Do you have any advice on my items and build? I'm not sure if I should be looking to replace uniques for more life/resist or what, but my survivability is pretty horrible in T10+ maps. Overall I'm pretty concerned about this build in late game and have considered just scrapping this character for EV. Is there a solid 2.4 alternative build we can transition into late that works better, or am I just up against finding extremely expensive jewelry to get my survability to where it needs to be and retain damage?

Also, I seem to have lost a bit of my life leech when I created a new bow that is heavy on elemental. I do about twice as much DPS than I did with my Infractem, but it seems a lot of the nodes in the build benefit +phys damage.

I would rather take Phase acrobatics
Go up from Acrobatics, not left to save one skillpoint.
Don't go up from Ballistic mastery. Vaal Pact feels good with huge amounts of leech.
Build much depends on gear.

If lack of leech take a node between Vitality Void and spirit Void.
Lack of resistances? Grab Cloth and chain till you have a proper gear to compensate it.
Not enough stats? grab a +30 node.
Not going to build your play around frenzy charges-don't take them at all. If planning to play with frenzy charges make sure to select way to generate them-Blood rage( in this case make sure to have a good leech and movement speed), frenzy as solo target or using Poachers mark curse(with curse think of good way to distribute it among enemies. Still assassins mark seems to be more effective but generates power charges instead)
Still lots of sockets remain empty. Link VR to 5 or craft/buy a decent harbinger.

My old trusty TS ranger though is dying very easily in high level maps, so want to give the Champion ascendancy class a whirl (might try a lightning coil too).

But I cannot use Champion AC with a ranger can I?...has to be a duelist?

Also, if I want to use frenzy charges but hate casting Blood Rage (especially with Vaal Pact), best option is to use frenzy attack to build FCs and then TS?

I can't for the life of me get over 21K DPS with Tornado Shot (with frenzy charges and Hatred/HoA).

Before Ascendancy I got 30K DPS easy but revisiting the build I can't make it do its magic.

(MY ONLY FOCUS IS TOOLTIP DPS right now.)

I am not sure what links would be best.

My best combination was

TS DrillNeck ( PPAD - GMP - TS - FA - Pierce) It gave me like 2K more than the setup below.





I have 75% Crit Chance and 475% Crit Multi, The bow is 330 PDPS from Poe.trade. God I would do anything to reach 50K DPS.

Any help?

Get Immortal Flesh to annihilate side effect from bloodrage+ Increased duration gem+ good movement speed=fast cleaning speed(Darkray Vectors gives movement speed per frenzy charge). As the result no side effect from bloodrage, nice movement speed, nice leech. You can use Frenzy to stack FS on bosses.

Get yourself Lioneye's Glare bow and make at least 5L. Don't use pierce gem without pierce quiver and pierce nods. Instead try using PtL. Also FA isn't that good put slower projectile instead of it.
BTW i think pierce and ts is a bad team since TS secondary projectiles do not pierce even with drillneck equipped.

Lioneye's is a significant DPS drop.

I am now using TS P2L GMP PPAD Increased Critical Strike. There's a slight dmg drop from the setup in my gear above but I guess shock makes up for it?

2. TS - GMP - P2L - PPAD - Increased Crit Strike (About 1-2K lower Hatred - HoA - 3 Frenzy - Blood Rage) 75% CC - 385% Multi

3. TS - GMP - PPAD - ICS - ICD (the 100% multiplier from ICD is surprisingly weaker on the tooltip)
75% CC - 475% Multi


I know I can reach higher with Rat's Nest and Maligaros but I also have noticed that any extra Crit Chance provides very little tooltip DPS so I'd be doing it for the ATKSPD/Multi

So if I am understanding you correctly, you want to know how to effectively scale the build by increasing numbers on the tooltip; BUT you don't care for the actual damage?

Why would you care about the tooltip over the actual damage output? The tooltip is, and always has been, a very poor indicator for many skills. For some skills it is entirely inaccurate, and for other skills it's closer to accurate but depending on the specifics of the build it could still be a poor representation of DPS.

If you wish to aim for getting the highest tooltip possible, I'm sure there are plenty of ways to cheese that and attempt to hit high numbers. But if you think that will equate to an increased amount of dps then you are sorely mistaken; i.e. there are things you can do to "buff" the tooltip which won't increase your dps at ALL, and there are things you to that will make the tooltip reflect less damage but your skill will be extremely powerful and it'll be noticeable.

If you are aiming to pad your TT dmg for the sake of e-peen then I suggest looking elsewhere because it means nothing. That being said, I am assuming you are just aiming to know how to effectively scale the build and for you it seems like the tooltip is the best proper gauge to do so.

I cannot say which end of the TT spectrum tornado shot sits upon; some skills are notoriously bad for their "gauge". I suggest researching things such as

Well its very easy upgrades TBH, buy some facebreaker for max damage,

get some rings that are actually good for damage (same for amu you didnt post that), you want diamond rings you want phys damage on them life obviously and res or more damage mods (crit multi is nice in the league but as or wed is fine too) your rings are really bad

amu gotta look similar to your quiver crit crit multi life,

tbh i knda feel like you troll quite a bit, when posting the gem setups you could at least try and follow the guide, as clearly and logically stated with ptl you use WED and not increased phys strikes

you should easily get over 50k dps with decent rings (5-10chaos each max) and facebreakers (8c)

1. What's your accuracy? If it less then 90% lionseye's glare will be better since 100% accuracy.The less accuracy the less effectiveness of crit.
2. Too much crit imho-get rid of crit gems in your chest, put ptl and wed/fa
3. Definitely need a curse
4. Didn't see your build and jewels since profile seems to be not private
