Hi there, I play with ice shot/blast rain as a raider, I'm on lvl 89 and 90% had to stop yesterday night cos work 2day for 5 days I did pick up life leech nodes it's make a way easier to survive and I'm using belly of the beast I'm on 5280 life in I can safely run t11-12 is can even do phys reflex mods no element reflex ;) If u want to c my gear look on my char. I can't link anything cos I'm on phone and won't b back home till sat night. But this setup I run is wry fast clear speed and fun to play, did buy that bow for 45c and belly for 35c and boots was around 20c all t rest I've found my self I have 10k ice shot in hideout without any bufs. It goes way up in batle;) I have 7 frenz charges on lvl 90 will have 8 in total. I have taste of hate for phys reduction but u can do it without it no prob;) I'll stay signed in so u can look at t char, don't know if u can c my tree that way.. but is basic I just took that live leech down on the tree instead on heavy draw or deadly draw don't know witch 1 it is cos can't look at it on phone:( well GL&HF with it and hope it does a help a wee bit..

Hi. Found this guide late but my build is not far off. Reached level 89 but stuck as I die easily. My DPS is good but no where near as good as your guide and I cannot see why.

What am I doing wrong and is there a relatively easy fix?

Any help gratefully received as I am struggling. My attacks with the frenzy are 2.3k physical, 435 lightning 1k fire and 900 cold

Yes, 0,4% mana leech should sustain your attacks... At least for me it works. Sometimes she says something about mana but you dont need to worry about it... It will sustain. It's annoying to listen to her talking this for a long time but.... you will get used to it. =) You will not feel mana problems anyway.

This setup has enough defenses (got fire and lightning capped 75%, cold 56% but still good) and I want to enhance my DPS. Currently with Blood Rage active with 5 frenzy charges I get 35k puncture and 28k Tornado Shot. Sadly I cannot afford a Harbinger Bow 6L with a good DPS, is there another bow option that I could buy to enhance my DPS? I know some gems are wrong but... This is the better setup I got in many tries. I was using Atziri's Step but I had low low defenses, that's why I'm using those boots.

One by one:
Bow: pretty good for leveling but will suck in endgame.Look for Lioneye's glare with (almost)pefrefect rolls,Reach of the council(legacy if can afford) or harbinger with better stats
Helmet: Rain of arrow totem? Consider Vaal skills here
QUiver: pretty nice, but if playing pure phys try to look for quiver with similar stats and phys damage
Amulet:way too many unnecessary stats. Look for life/resistances/phys damage/critmult/accuracy and other stats that can be useful
rings:rings provides the most of the resistances. Look for rings that provide 80+ resistances in total
No need in socket for ring expecially for second curse that you can't use simultaneously with assassin mark.
Chest is decent but lacks life roll, but it\s ok if you can reach 4.5k hp and higher with it.
Belt: look for rustic sash with life and resistances roll and good elem damage
Boots are weird. IF you reach res cap switch to unique like atziri step or blood dance.
Gems in boots shouldn't be all lvl 20. Keep them around 100 strength requirement.If you level them up to 20 you should sacrifice some affixes to gain additional stats.
Gloves are nice.
Get rid of mana flask if you feel leach is enough.
Socket chest with PtL and WED instead of critical and added fire. If you want to try playing as elem ranger get yourself Signal fire quiver.
Signal fire+PTL+WED+Hatred+herald gives a hell to wraeclast inhabitants.It works worse on bosses that are elemental resistant, but there are workarounds.
Consider using Blood rage-to use it wisely make sure to run fast and leech much.
Again think of using Vaal skills
Grace may save your life, haste will boost your dps,skeletons or vaal rain of arrow will keep boss on place for some time.
Tree:
Go up from the dex nod next to the Acrobatics. Revenge of the hunted is not worth of it.
Fangs of the viper---->Will of blades---->Coordination
No need in Coldhearted calculation. Take +30 int nod if necessarry.
No need in mana leech from the bottom of the tree unless gear doesn't provide it at all. If needed grab a hybrid node.

If you die a lot and can't level up----> switch to raider.

Get rid of enduring cry since CoDT can only trigger spells, not warcry- instead put vortex or any curse that can impact monsters aboility to kill you-enfeeble for example.
Instead of enfeeble in helmet use assassin mark. Put frenzy instead of puncture. I do offer to get rid of single target spell since TS is good for both single and aoe. Consider using vaal skills here.
Here is my sequence of what i o on bosses:
0 Hatred-Herald of ash
1. Blood rage
2. Frenzy-Coh-elemental weaknesss(since i play elem build)-get maximum Frenzy charges
3. Vaal skeletons- Vaal grace- Vaal haste- Atziri promise-Taste of hate
4. AWESOME DAMAGE DEALT HERE-boss dead, almost dead, half dead depending on boss.

Set your profile to public -> go into ur account -> privacy settings -> uncheck first box ("set profile as private"). No need for linking items here.

If u use reach I guess you alsp use TS, so you should be fine with 1x 6L for now. Decent rare chest costs less than 1/3 of 6l reach. Or you could buy cheap white 6l and chaos-spam something out of it. (or I was lucky with this metod (total 30c or so) and overestimate the chance for getting something nice, just saying)

the problem is that people can't put their shit together and in effect you have pretty nice chests like "Bramble Ward" Zodiac and utter potato like "Rapture Shelter" both for 2ex. So it's good to be carefull there.

This is my first try of PoE and first character that I created. I try to stick to NeverSink's build by with some deviations as it is the first try and my financial opportunities are pretty low. Now I'm using this gear:

So my DPS with auras of Hatred and herald of ash is about 25K and I think it's pretty low. With full stack of frenzy charges and rallying cry DPS is about 35k. I'm using lighting arrow to curse and then attack with TS. Also for increasing single target DPS is start to use ballista.
If someone can check my build and give some usefull tips how to increase damage and survival I will be very greatful.

No drama, but it's good to have both some damage and life (50+, better more) and resistances on every piece of jewelry. It doesnt have to be even that good:

Toolpits vary from skill to skill, I'd rather check if playing/killing is hard (too hard). Areas and bosses like these on t5 Pit map or t8 Shore map can give good answer about your damage and if it's ok for given moment or not.

(in case u wanna try it (non-crit), forget what I said about quiver) plus I forgot totaly about Drillneck, which I never actually used, it might be good or even best option, too

I wasn't aware I can switch to Raider. Do I have to wait for skills to be reset to do this?

A better bow? - the harbinger I have is pretty good stats and it is very hard to find one with better DPS. I have 3 Exe at the moment which won't buy much. Many bows at quite high prices (15 Exe) have less DPS than current bow so I am not sure I am understanding how to find a better stats bow. Can you advise on what I am looking for?
