what works best on bosses ? TS, barrage or blast rain ?

So what exactly are we aiming for when we Vaal a Signal Fire? Because i'm looking at poe.trade and seeing all the corrupted Signal Fires listed and the stats look exactly the same from lowest to highest price.

Perfect roll on AS and both phys and elem damage.

Before the 3.0 update you had to do that quest 3 times. So picking one of the other rewards was more rewarding (usually) cause it allowed you to "stack" bonuses , so when a bandit reward was good for your char is was at least 3 times good (figure of speech).

Now the bonuses are picked once which watered them down.

The 2 passive points dont seem like a lot but they mean arriving to the important nodes 2 levels earlier , they mean that once you get to end game you probably picking another jewel with them (10dex+1jewel) which trumps the bonuses from the bandits most of the times.


Then again you can pick one of the other bonuses nothing wrong with that the 3 of them provide good bonuses and are pretty balanced (obviously not oak on this build).

currently at level 85 now. raider-ranger.
max resist at 75, 4.1k hp no Belly of the beast yet.
No problem with mobs, still running at t7-t9 maps farming.
Sometimes i have problems with bosses. I suggest you do move a lot on bosses to avoid being hit with strong damage.

Some questions/ideas to my fellow rangers:

1. how much hp will i have (from 4.1k) after equipping belly of the beast? should it reach 5k? don't know how the 30-40% max life computation works.

2. currently still wearing 2 pcs le heup unique rings. can someone suggest to me rare rings as a replacement to boost my life? i really love le heup since it has 20+ resists, damage and rare finds. but i think i need to switch to better rare rings to boost my survivability.

3. can someone look at my avatar character and give some good critic on it, i really want to improve my ranger and reach level 100, and enjoy farming. what else should i improve on?

4. will this build viable for uber lab farming? i have no probs with my marauder cyclone farming uber lab. will the ranger equally do good in uber lab?

5. for those having mana issues, i too had those issues when i was low level. but as you level up and damage increases, surely you wont need and mana flask.

6. i'm using siege ballista on bosses for additional damage and helps in tanking a boss sometimes.

7. how important is phase acrobatics? need 4 passive points to reach it. or should i just take life nodes instead of phase acro?

IN some need of a gear check if anyone has some suggestions would appreciate it.

Is wise oak mandatory? I honestly do not care for the balancing act, however will the build still be viable without it? If so what could I use in it's place? Thanks.

I just have some questions.

You've mentioned about using enlighten + mana reducion node for using 3 auras.

I'm using hatred + Herald of Ice. If i decide to do 3 auras, what's the third one ?

For a non-hardcore, Belly of the Best or Kaom Heart's?

What about Pantheons?

Anyway, awesome job with this build and really fun to play.
