[3.0] NeverSink's ♣ INDEPTH Tornado&Archer Guide ♣ Beginner friendly ♣ Rapid clear ♣ All bosses

New question here. I tried searching, but it is difficult to search within this thread, as it is 1000+ pages long.

I'm playing this in 3.1, am at level 42 right now, and am set up for a 5-link.

My question is what to do with strength and intelligence? The recommended TS setup shows a blue Physical to Lightning Support and a red Elemental Damage with Attacks Support.

Where do I get the strength and intelligence of these gems? Equipment or skill nodes? Do I just use a low-level version of these gems, or do I level them up?

There are a variety of places you can pick up extra Strength and Intelligence.

First there are a number of passive nodes that will provide you with some.

Fury Bolts gives you extra strength, and is already on the planned passive list.
I usually take Primal Spirit (which is not on the planned list) which gives you +20 Str and +20 Int.

Coldhearted Calculation has an Int boost. Trickery and Coordination both have Dex and Int boosts.

You can also take some of the big stat nodes (like Wisdom of the Glade, or Beef) to boost your Str and/or Int now, and spec out of thaem later when your gear can support it.

I usually craft a Hyrri's Bite to use while leveling: That can be made from a vendor recipe, and includes a big Str and Int buff.

You can also get gear with the stats you need, such as

Finally, Jewels can have stat boosts on them. Jewels aren't the best place to pick up stat boosts, but it is an option.

I'm playing this in 3.1 and it seems fine to me. The only thing I have done differently is that I haven't taken Vaal Pact. Perhaps I'll eventually get around to testing with it but I'm just not sure it's worth giving up life regen after the nerf to it.

Any viable build with the new Elder Bow?

Hey, sorry I'm kinda new in this game (first time I feel like a newbie with +200h on a game) how do you get that kind of enchant on the helm, the "+2 tornado"?

You get the enchant from running Lab ( The Lord's Labyrinth ).
U need to run UBER LAB to get the +2 Tornado enchant ( there are 4 labs (normal, cruel, merciless, and " uber " lab )

Brawly if i follow ur character current Passive Tree my leveling will be sweet ? Also what you got in your Ascendancy ?

Love this build (TS in particular) I try to find unique builds that are not 80% of the league.

I try not to follow the crowd - [3.1] seems to be the League of the Slayer/VP.

Which is cool, but I'm always looking to broaden my horizons.

I don't feel comfortable (yet) making my own build from scratch, since i'm still new (in PoE terms i.e. 300 hours - not many games can have you as a n00b at 300 hours LOL) and a little behind in my PoE mechanics classes; I try to learn from PoE's Senpai in whatever specialty they are great for.

Which is why I can't say enough about NeverSink and his great Raider, Deadeye, and Pathfinder build classes - and others of course.

Of course RL smaks you in the butt so no biggie for 3.1 as i'm always willing to try new play styles.

But since I was started some time back on Neversinks' builds I have yet to find one that didnt do what it claimed to.

So, If TS 3.1 is out soon enough maybe i'll see how it stacks up as my 2nd toon.
