Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

Hi and thanks for a great guide as it helped me greatly to get into the game. I just started playing PoE 2 weeks before last league ended so I'm still very much a newbie.

I barely made it to maps before the last league ended so I wasn't able to test out the build like I really wanted to.

I prefer to play Solo-Self Found and take my time leveling, with all the recent changes made for this league - will this build still be SSF viable for end-game content or is it too early to tell?

Hi Enki, i have a question regarding first ascendancy passive - in PoB you chose Shaper of Desolation at normal lab, but here in Ascendancy section you prefer taking Paragon of Calamity. Which one should I follow?

Act 10 atm :)

Gave up on farming a tabula and bought a cheap 5L instead with the right colors to speed it up. That is the only thing I bought! Here is current gear for those who are struggling.



Will give another update when I reach mapping, only did normal lab so far so need to do that first.

I am having a very hard time with every boss i encounter, lvl 58 all resistances are capped, 1927hp, 293 evasion rating. I have followed your passive tree, except i took a point from minion damage and accuracy and one from spiritual aid to get more hp from the "life wheel". i died 15+ times from doedre and i have no chance of making the 2nd labrynth, if he can hit me once with his melee attack im dead no matter what. any think i can do for survivability?

That’s because this build is garbage and has been for a long time. It’s a total noob trap, since it’s so well written. But in reality, it requires a ton of investment to do what literally any other build can do for less. Beginner friendly, but requires inpulsa and level 21 arc? Yeah, okay....trust me, I fell for this trap as well. Invested many exalts, cleared end-game, but at what cost? A lot! Do yourself a favor, throw a dart at the build forums and play that. I promise you, it’ll be better than this dumpster fire.

Last time you came here to talk trash i've checked your char and it was immediatly obvious why it couldn't work for you, there were many things wrong with your setup, even some things that the guide literally mentioned not to do.

And the fact that you think those things are required for the build to work shows that you simply have wrong expectations.

That's a good call, will add it back to the Leveling Section, as players probably won't have Vaal Grace by that time.

Could someone explain why we need 1k of energy shield to start mapping? Build uses Eldrich Battery and no MoM, so low ES should be enough for casting.

We do use MoM.


Well, I know others are much further than me, I level slowly and don’t have much time to play in any case, but after swapping to EB I noticed spending ES for mana does not stop the ES recharge. I don’t think it will, but it may present a problem later on if you have enough recharge to sustain Arc expenditure. On the other hand, it is great while leveling for mana.

So we use MoM? Strange that in PoB build MoM keynode is not showing "checked" for me. That clears all things. Thanks.

On Doedre, are you using the valves? Many don't know about that the first time around.

All of Izaro's attacks really need to be dodged. Ideally he shouldn't hit you once during any of the labs. The slam is fatal damage for most builds, and the standard melee attack is no joke either. Avoid it. A decoy totem is basically mandatory if you're not already trained at the boss patterns from Act 4 onwards.

Has there been any thought of adapting the non-ES 3.5 build to 3.6? Like others in Standard, I finally got some good gear, and could clear T13 without problems. I tried pathing out what 3.5 was to 3.6 in POB, it looks like my damage is about the same, but concerningly I went from 5.1K life to 4.1K, which I'm not sure is viable. I'd be OK with a damage hit, since I really like the 3.5 playstyle, the decoy totem, the immortal call CWDT setup, etc...

Trying to replace everything with ES gear, given how popular ES might be this patch, seems like it might take a long time for the more casual players.
