Enki's Arc Witch Memorial Page & POE 2 Arc Summary

is inpulsa usable in this build?
It seems to be, I've got 860k PoB DPS, the only thing that really ever kills me is heavy physical damage, and malachai (who's awful btw) but I'm one shotting pretty much everything in T16 maps, and don't even have my gems all level 20/awakened yet.

Very lucky regal on my staff.

Now I have:
PREFIX +3 lightning spell gems.
PREFIX (open)
PREFIX (open)
SUFFIX +39 intelligence
SUFFIX +36% Global Crit Strike mult.
SUFFIX (open - junk suffix added for now to keep it open.)

I'm not sure what next. 3 options.
1: Craft cannot roll attack modifiers then exalt, and 1/3 chance to lose my open suffix that I need to keep, but at the same time reduce the risk of a bad prefix.
2: Craft a junk suffix to maintain my spare suffix slot, then exalt it and maybe roll some useless prefix. If I craft an attack suffix it won't preclude any attack prefixes will it? (hope it does but that would be OP)
3: Beastcraft split the item, hoping to only cull the intelligence suffix. this will give me 2 mods on one item and one mod on the other, only 1/3 chance to get the desired output of +3 gems and Crit strike left together.

You can also multi-mod it, which is probably what I would do. It's the safest option to finish this staff. Only downside will be that you can't really use the trigger a socketed spell when casting, so you'll have to cast orb of storms and wave of conviction yourself.
I'd probably go for something like:
PREFIX Increased spell damage + non chaos as extra chaos damage (A veiled mod)
PREFIX add lightning damage to spells
SUFFIX can have up to 3 crafted modifiers. (<-- you can get this one by running the pale court).

Also, gratz on the regal!

Consider also beast crafting a random suffix up to prefix.

If int goes up, you free up space to multimod, which will allow you to craft on trigger a socketed spell.

If multi goes up instead, I would consider scouring the suffixes entirely (by crafting prefixes cannot be changed and scouring the item to delete suffixes) and then multimodding again to put 2 good affixes of your choice on. Then you can consider influencer orb slamming (e.g. crusader orb for lightning pen prefix or wrath/zealotry effect suffix).

Farric wolf alpha needed for that beastcraft is quite affordable too. Thanks for the advice everyone. Will try the move a suffix method tomorrow. I like that it's a 50/50 chance, and the "fail" option is still salvageable.

Edit: I cant find a definitive answer but I think Beastcrafting to remove a suffix and add a prefix would respect "cannot roll attack skills" and not count that as one of the suffixes to move over shouldn't it?
Plan is:
1. craft cannot roll attack skills.
2. Beastcraft to remove a suffix and add a prefix.

3a. Crit remains: confirm cannot roll attack skills still active then apply Crusader Exalt. Now it depends if that new mod went as a prefix or suffix.
4aa. 3 prefixes and 1 suffix: cannot roll attack skills still active which also does double duty and occupies a suffix slot so I can apply a second crusader exalt, then clear the cannot roll attack mods and replace with cast a socketed skill. 6 mods, Done.
4ab: 2 prefixes and 2 suffixes: craft cast a socketed skill, leave one prefix open and think about it.

3b. Int remains: crafting bench for prefixes cannot be changed.
4b. Scour suffixes.
4c. multimod

Edit again: The beastcraft left the existing suffixes and removed my "cannot cast attack mods" and gave me "Gain 10% of cold damage as extra chaos damage."
now I have 2 mods I want and 2 I dont want.
Beastcraft to split into 2 items, Jackpot!!. Crit strike suffix and +3 gems together on a magic.

Hey guys,
.......
Over all I like the build this league, except for Sirus - he's just the worst.

Make sure you get one jewel somewhere with the cannot be affected by corrupted blood corruption. Makes it a lot easier.

Hey, thanks again. Killed him now at awakener level 7 without any real issues!

Very helpful to watch, I havent done Sirus yet with an arc witch so thanks for sharing. On the edge of my seat at 3:45 with you dashing into that storm! I noticed you run 4 different golems rather than three with one twice and the taunt support gem, do you find that a lot better? Also I see wave of conviction go off with flame dash together quite often, is that just how you play it or do you have them linked?

If you craft 'cannot roll attack' and then beastcraft suffix to prefix, my understanding is that there is a risk (1/3) that you will end up beastcrafting that suffix up and leaving the original 2 suffixes untouched. Although that's a downside, it's not a bad play overall as the metacraft should still prevent any attack prefix resulting from the beastcraft -- I haven't tested this though so take that with a grain of salt.

Also, FYI, you cannot crusader exalt orb slam twice -- you can only influencer orb slam an uninfluenced item.

Yes exactly that just happened. It picked the cannot roll attack modifiers and gave me a cold and chaos prefix. I ended up with a staff with 2 prefixes and 2 suffixes. Confirmed beastcraft can bone you.
So I split it into 2 items and got exactly the combo I wanted.

I'm selling a ton of junk to make 110 chaos now so I can make an imprint while it's still a magic item. I think that's the wisest move at this point. It's an optional step though.

Then I guess I'll regal it and take whatever comes so I can craft a cannot roll attack skills again and crusader slam.

That will do... Tier 5 crit chance for spells. It's not great but not useless.

2 open prefixes and one suffix. now for cannot roll attack mods and a crusader orb. (sorry to Enki if it feels like I'm spamming the thread I thought the crafting steps and choices and reasons would be helpful for others.)

Hi Enki, just to start, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS GUIDE! You may laugh at me, but this is the first time I finished all 10 acts and went into mapping, as well as the first time I accumulated more than 3 chaos orbs but obviously there's still much to learn.

I have a few questions which I could not find the answers elsewhere on this tread/online which I hope you (or anyone else) can help to clarify:

1. Gem Quality: Why do we keep Arc at 0% quality? Is it because we dont use the "shock" mechanic (but instead use the crit mechanic which also shocks?) But if that's the case wouldnt stacking crit AND shock be beneficial or am I missing something?

2. In the Useful Large Cluster Passives under Lightning Damage implicit, why Snowstorm? I tried searching and it seems like a previous version of the build used the Three Dragon helmet to freeze instead of shock, but we're currently using the Devourer's diadem. Would Supercharge be better?

3. Continuing on the subject of cluster passives, is Stormdrinker useful for the penetration only? Because I find that I die from HP first rather than energy shield. Would Scintillating Idea (for 5% penetration) or Paralysis/Prismatic heart/Thunderstruck (30% increased lightning damage) or Corrosize Elements (for exposure) be better?

Thank you again in advance!
