My Arc now is Lv24 on a six link. if i link it to empower lv4 it give me +3 level on active skill gem, that 's make my Arc Lv 27.

So is Lv 27 Arc better? if yes, which gem should i take out from my Arc steup? now i only got Empower Lv 3 corrupted, only give +2 level on active skill.

I've been thinking on getting a lvl26 Arc (26 is the breakpoint where you get an extra chain), but found it pretty hard to get there, since you ideally also want good mana on every gearpiece. Empower would solve a lot of that messiness, but I'm not sure if it's better than any of the gems we're running.
Since you're pretty close to a lvl26 Arc already, I could suggest: Get an amulet with +1 to lightning skill gems and +1 to intelligence skill gems (Crusader + Hunter influence) and get a body armour with +1 to active skill gems (Shaper or warlord influence). This will get you to the breakpoint and keep your Arc with all of its support gems.

wow! what a good suggestion. i been thinking is it possible to get lvl26 Arc and keep all of its support gem. now i know what to look for and craft. it won't be easy but i can try.

Hi I have a question regarding your Passive tree:

I see on some of the nodes there are oil icons above them but I can not see any info on them on what they are or that they referenced in the guide

I LOVE THIS GUIDE farmed a good while to get the gear I am using now with a slight variation in the skill tree but over all 200/100 will use again

I really don't think the opportunity cost of a level 26 Arc is worth it with this new build. Unlike previous builds, we have high base damage via Archmage, making it much easier to effectively scale overall DPS. A level 26 Arc was previously such an improvement not only because of the 15% more damage from the extra chain, but also the increased base damage at the higher level. That additional base damage is pretty trivial compared to what Archmage can do for us with a big mana pool, so you're way better-off going for another big damage multiplier than for the little bit of extra base damage and 15% multiplier that Empower would provide. That's on top of the additional gearing burden you'd need to take on to get 5 extra gem levels. From almost any standpoint, you're better off investing in more mana than you are higher gem levels.

Of course, it'd be another story if we could get our support gems another 5 levels higher...

@litelmoo you just have to use Arcanist Brand. After the skill hit a monster, Desecrate and Bone Offering will automatically spawn around the monster and up to your head you will get a skeleton. As the guide mentioned, the best would be to have on weapon or head the skill "Trigger a Socketed Spell when you use a Skill". So Desecrate and Bone Offering will automatically spawn. I was at first also confused ^^

Does the Cinderswallow flask add anything to this build?

Hi me again. Guys I finally got my essence worm and enough resists ( even lightning 120+ i hate baran) but i dont feel like im hitting. Really i dont know whats wrong with me or this build is like that but im lvl 80 now and cant even run t7 maps properly. I can finish them but if I want to make a jun quest or something I waste like 4 portals. This build is not suppose to be like this.I just cant figure it out what the hell am I doing wrong im losing my mind. I cant hit and I dont feel tanky either. Pls help me.
