Honestly this will sound quite a bit coky but the main part is getting better at the game and the mechanics. Once you have about 6-7k effective HP(actual HP + Mana + ES(if you dont use Agnostic)) you should be more then tanky enough, especially with a build that provides close to 70% block uptime at all time.

For example Sirus 8 is the perfect example of a Boss where you won't take any damage once you know the fight well. And even if you end up getting hit by his laser(eg. unlucky offscreen snipe) there is a quite high chance you will block it and even if not you might survive.


If you could tell us with what bosses you struggle and to what extend we might be able to provide a more detailed explanatipn and suggestions. Alot of the fights require niche tuening to be able to execute them perfectly.

The last league I played was actually the one before Atlas was released so a lot of the "big" bosses are new to me. But I just managed to kill Sirus A8 quite easy, so you might be correct in that it's just me who needs to learn the mechanics a bit better. I'm trying out the amulet you told me to and also put in conductivity. Other than that I've mainly died to really buffed up metamorph mobs that I don't really know what they're doing.

I am still a firm believer that conductivity in CWDT is a waste, but I will make a proper written and maybe even spoken explanation on how to properly execute the build into lategame later this week(from my PoV). I am currently trying to hardrush finetune it(currently hovering around 5-5.5m dps goal is atleast 6-7)

Also this is my first proper League of playing poe hence I am still unfamiliar with alot of the mechanics and niches myself. But I firmly believe that together in this post we will be able to give the build the finetuning it deserves!

Heya folks! Took a few days off from playing this build. Too much to catch up on with this thread....

First, I saw talk about continuing to update this build, since Enki's not doing it again until next League. I think that's great. However, I also think it's too hard to just do it in the replies here. Can another thread be set up for that with one person updating the main post to keep things updated. Then later, Enki can yoink that and make other changes and update here.

Second, I need some "next steps" advice on my own build. Still mostly following Enki's build as written, but with some updates, such as the Inward Eye. Here's what I think my next steps should be. Yes? No? Other steps? My current PoB is https://pastebin.com/uRvUnygN
* Shield w/ Recover #% of your maximum Mana when you Block - This is next in the upgrade order, but I haven't found one in my budget yet that gives a good enough upgrade from what I have. How important is this?
* Body Armour w/ #% increased Effect of Offerings & 80+ Life - I've got 112 Life on my Body, but not the Effect of Offerings - Again, how important is this? Oh, and I only have a 5L!
* Kitava's Teachings - I need to get this, then re-annoint my amulet to Mana Flows. About 75c for the jewel and the Golden Oil. I can afford this now. Should I hit this before the Shield and Body Armour?
* Lv21 Vaal Arc w/ 0% Quality - I have a Lvl 20 Arc. Should I wait to get an Incursion where I can do a double corruption? Or just Vaal it now? I am currently using a Lvl 20 Vaal Arc.
* Watcher's Eye w/ #% increased Mana Recovery Rate while affected by Clarity - I'm generally not using Clarity. My current Abyssal jewel stacks some Strength I need for Increased Duration. Life is at 5.5k. I could ditch some of the Life around the Constitution area to pick up some Strength, then I can get a Watcher's. I'm currently using Conductivity on my CWDT as my Mana Regen is fairly decent, and not running Clarity gives a DPS boost, and so does Conductivity.
* What's next for gear? And my Clusters are not perfect, but not terrible.
* Need to get rid of some of my ES mods, too.
* No where near ready to get Awakened Gems


Third, one of the things I was doing when not playing this build was getting some "kill Dominus" achievements on classes that I never play. I now have all of those done except Scion. I can find a Scion build write up I like enough to follow. Does any one have any suggestions?
