Hey all, I happened to get a random unique drop and wondered if it wouldn't be useful for this build.

Would obviously need to spec out of dual wielding and maybe into some shield nodes instead, but would it be worth it? Seems like it could bump damage up significantly, but I'm unsure exactly how difficult it would be to maintain mana with this.

I think that shield has potential in some bizarre build, but I don't see it working for this one. Unless there is some kind of internal cooldown on it, we are simply casting spells way too often to be able to capitalize on the massive hits it could provide us--imagine going down to 0 mana every time you flame dash!

Oh yeah, dang, didn't think about it proccing on flame dash. Might proc on Arcane Cloak too for that matter. Could be worth if it could individually affect Arc and nothing else, but yeah, I see why it wouldn't work here then.

I got a Pure Talent jewel and socketed it according to the path of building (next to Mystic Bulwark) but its not providing the scion buff like it claims it should. Am I missing something?

Your profile is private, make sure you are connected to the Scion starting node. The node you need is the 20% mana regen +5 int node to the right of Shaper and the jewel socket with the 8% mana nodes above it.

To add to this, it actually doesn't even matter which socket you put it in.

Also, once I get a Transcendent Mind, I'm thinking of pathing to the Inquisitor's starting point for the 5% ele pen and the extra mana recovery.

Funny story: I was looking for a belt to try to Redeemer-slam increased mana recovery on yesterday and excitedly spent all my currency on this about a minute after it got put up for trade:


...and then realized it already had influence. Such are the risks of upgrading your gear while drunk.

how can you Use Cloak od Defiance with 54 dex? where to get the 23 dex?

Hey guys as many others I am struggling a bit with the build, I came to acceptance with the terms that this build in fact will die often and survivability is rather limited due to the way this build works, life insurance such as CWDT/immortal call doesn't work here really, and as fairly new PoE player I am struggling to scale up life.

However my main issue is scaling damage here, atm the damage falls of super hard vs T11+ map bosses. It's actually so bad I struggled with T1 blight map which I ran hoping I get lucky.



What I am looking for is really an advice where to invest, to get the most out of it. I am sitting at roughly 2 ex of currency. Should I simply farm my way up for 6 link cloak, or potentially invest in better wands? Or quality up my gems?

I am running a healthy mind jewel as well sacrificing more survivability for the dps.

Side note

Funnily enough I managed to max my resistances with three items, and being positive chaos res, got to re roll ele weakness maps tho, therefore I am running Omeyocan in non hunter maps which is pretty wicked.

Maximize mana
Get to level 21 gems

Cheers mate, I'll go cloak > Gems > more mana as I am currently sitting at 7.4k/ 6.8 when reserved auras

in a post waaaay back there there was a mention that when the trigger wand fires, it casts the spells in the order they are installed

in the great scheme of things, does it matter for us what that order is?
