Your build says to only use zealoty after getting Reservation Mastery, but none of the trees have you getting it, from what I can tell. Where are you getting Reservation Mastery?

Mine works with 40. Lightning's low end is all the way down at 602, and cold tops off at 2589. That being said, the higher your conversion is the more consistent it will be, and you're also upping the increased lightning damage mod, so catalysts are worth it but not required.

so if I understand it: with band of brotherhood you hit with 60% lightning and 40% cold (and 0% fire), your fire and cold resonance rises giving you 15% more cold and 15% more fire damage (since fire is 0% it never get's higher)
for your second hit this turns the damage into 54% lightning and 46%cold, for the third hit it's 48% lightning and 52% cold (this is the maximum of 50 resonance), however now lightning damage is lower then cold damage and you start raising lightning resonance to 25 giving you the benefit of 7-16% (at lvl 20) elemental pen
and since arc hits 4 times per cast you effectively have this effect forever
the 60/40 line is pretty much the minimum

So I was playing around in path of building, and we can spec into a massive amount of crit and block if we use staves. We'll probably have to give up the right side of the tree to have enough skill points though.

It was asked before but before i start the build i want to know if this is hc viable?

I highly recommend using Herald of Ice instead of Defiance banner (ideally fit it in later) once you get Call of the Brotherhood, it makes clearing so much better (and fun).
Instead of using CWDT Molten Shell just use it on left click and then you can also fit in frost bomb, which is huge for archnemesis mobs and some bosses with high regen.
