I'm using this build since start of the league, could someone check my character IGN: MapArc and give me any advice on what I could change to improve it ?
I know I should get Empower Lv4 + Enchants (especially helmet one for Arc)... but what else ?
My all resists are at 80% 5k hp and 2,2k unused mana while running Wrath and Clarity.
My Arc DPS on tooltip is 55,6k. Lightning penetration 43%. Using watcher's eye for lightning dmg while Wrath is active.

My bad. Changed it to public now.
@Gilgadhien: You could use both for lots of lightning penetration, but I wouldn't say it's worth dropping the other flasks for. Replace the Sulphur for Wise Oak if you feel you don't need the extra life regen from Consecrated Ground, and try to roll "..of Heat" on your Silver Flask. I'd also keep the Basalt since there's other sources of bleed, unless you wanna stand still everytime until they stop.

@deleteded: Mind of the Council or Wrath Watcher's Eye, until then you're limited to mana regeneration, flask and Siphoning Trap as options.

Try to get one of those high lightning damage% temple sceptres or a Catalyst, after that Essence Worm.

@kwstas778: I'd just keep using the Lv20 Vaal Arc until you get a Lv21 one.

@Avarthar: Pretty much all your gear is heavily lacking life, so I would start with that. Get some basic gear and one of the unique shields to get started, after that you can go for the more expensive uniques one by one or get a really good lightning damage% sceptre/Catalyst.

@tyvar1 & ProstheticAIM: That's because the vendor at that point will only sell a Lv2 CwDt and Lv6 Enfeeble. After you reach Lily in Act 6 or at the very last reach maps you can just switch to the Lv1/5 setup.

@Reversion: Give Siphoning Trap a try. I'm still not sure what the best setup for that is, but even just the trap itself may help you already.

@CrimpyRex: I'd recommend Mind of the Council and Essence Worm, after that Inpulsa's.

@Arcona_RPG_GR: You could try out a Lv10 CwDt + Lv16 Molten Shell, takes more damage to proc but also absorbs more physical damage.

@Parhelius: That's because you now take some of the damage to your mana, which you probably weren't used to yet. Once you're used to it you can play around it, either with Siphoning Trap, Mana Flasks or later on simply one of the highend solutions.

@JerryVoy: Yeah that's pretty nice actually. Should be able to skip Rathpith Globe while still being able to cap spellblock with Rumi's, and the extra strength and int give extra life/mana.

@BVB_1909: The boots are pretty interesting, but yeah I'd prefer Ahn's Heritage over them. Omeyocan however could open up a completely new setup, sustain should be ok with Mind of the Council.

@xkingbeastx: It's to get resistances for them before getting Liege of the Primordial, after that the gem would only help Decoy Totem and non-ele golems.

@N4Z: We can already ignite with Shaper of Desolation, so I don't see too much benefit in this. But please let me know how it goes, maybe i'm just underestimating the ring.

@Coughiiee: We don't have EE specced, just path along it to reach the scion life wheel.

@cenleegame01: +Arc chains is best for the extra more multiplier at bosses, Shield Charge attack speed is probably also ok to use.

@Zevisto: I'd switch out those boots and belt to gain more life and flaks duration from belt, then switch one Life flask with a Silver and the mana flask with Wise Oak, can still switch in the mana flask for shock-immune maps. Also replace the Lightnign Damage% craft on your sceptre with attack speed. After that you can aim for a Lv21 Vaal Arc and Lv4 Empower, and farm the enchants in the meantime.

Ive been using this build but i find i get more damage and Mana from a 6 linked Pledge of Hands with my arc linked in it. I tried some of the 1 hand and shield options but the damage loss was insane my current In-game sheet DPS for arc is 33,680 and thats with bad rings and other accessories.

Thank you, that makes sense. Thank you also for this build - it's the first build I've ever completed the 10 acts with, and I'm now onto mapping.
Hi, just a quick question:

is an energy shield build any good? (e.g. the witch flame golem build in this subforums is using ES mainly)

I thought about using a staff. It would allow the use of kaoms heart. My tree is different than the one in the guide. I went for a life regen tank build and took the leech ascendancy. I'll spec into mom once i can equip grand spectrum cobalt jewels as I don't feel like I can support it yet.

In the end I felt like move speed is such an important thing for incursions that giving up permanent onslaught from ahns shield was a no-go. I may try the build with kaom's and pledge later in the league when I have the extra currency. It could make some boss fights and general mapping easier at the expense of less efficient incursions.
What do you think i should go for next in my build?
@Atum84: It depends on three things - your budget, reliable ways to sustain the ES pool and if the build needs any low/no ES uniques in the main ES slots. Golem builds can usually pull it off since they can stay behind their golems and recharge/regenerate ES, and even have a decent unique choice with Skin of the Loyal.

@Swagg0t: Amulet and jewels first, then a belt with flask duration and a new weapon.

Vessel of Vinktar question here.
Is 10% pen better then # to # Lightning damage to spells?
