" Go Scion still. Use Bladefall instead of incinerate Go Berserker subclass for the life leech and drop life leech gem. Links are Bladefall - conc effect - spell echo - controlled destruction - faster casting - added fire Other subclass can be raider, guardian, slayer, gladiator. Raider is best 2nd subclass imo (40 dex puts you at perfect 160 dex passively (lvl 21 bladefall is 159 dex req), free frenzy charges and onslaught + phasing. Incinerate - Controlled destruction - Faster Casting - Fire pen - LMP - Elemental Focus For 3 points get Elemental Overload above Mind Over Matter. The 1% base crit from assassin should make incinerate have the minimum 5% crit so you should always proc this node, essentially giving 40% more damage. So for incinerate from 2.1 -> 2.2 you gain elemental focus and elemental overload and 10% more dmg from berserker. So thats 1.4 x 1.4 x 1.1 = 2.15x more damage compared to 2.1. Why the berserker over inquisitor or elementalist?

Yeah I agree with Dan, Berserker is a no brainer, and i'd get Elemental Overload and try to keep it up with something like orb of storms and inc crit strikes gem, the cwdt setup and tempest shield would proc it too i suspect, so it would be nice to have i think

go BladeFall , start with Dualist , gladiator subcalss(100% of block chance applied to spells ) and you can use The Anvil for extra block and can get more DPS nodes

" no... pointless lol, the starting nodes are so bad, the anvil sucks when you already get so much block from the tree, it gimps your dps, stone of lazhwar gives you cast speed instead of reducing it. " Resist nodes are ok when you are aiming for a lightning coil, and you need scion for easy access to the top of the tree, with Duelist the travelling becomes very awkward. You will use stone of lazhwar/rathpith combo regardless so gladiator is not a good choice, Gladiator is very good for Aegis like I said, for this build it is subpar. true but still good enought more tanky + more dps nodes if you skip some block nodes + really nice damage boost by blocking attacks for 4 second
