the very next step is to get empower 2 or 3 and rechrome the bow, taking out the slower projectiles for it. And divine my one Andy.. bleh I always delay this, hate RNG. Then I'll refine helmet / gloves / belt / maybe amulet and be done with the gearing, looking out to get better quality gems. it's a blast guys :) if you need a proper crafter head over to VielarCrom's service (/view-thread/1608189). If you share a master for him, you'll get your cata 8 free (and he does collateral if you wish, could hold his very worthy Voll's Devotion while we did the crafts). I don't speedrun merci labs yet, but today there's a guarantee'd unique so I'll try to just remove my Andvarius rings and run life/str ones for the sake of it. challenge-wise, I have 3-4 low hanging fruits (1 guardian, 1 lab unique, 3 trinkets, 1 cadiro item, lvl 90 and the vaal temple map etc.) that will put me in a well enough position pla mindlessly spamming t5's and above, the Perandus league is really a blast! Four of my six jewels are now tri-useful mods, just two more to pick up. And the bow. Empower. And probably a better amulet, eventually. I'm up to level 82, gems are mostly 19 (with a corrupted lvl20 CA I picked up on the market for a single Chaos) and I'm already pushing over 12k tooltip chaos / second. 12,322.8 to be precise. At this point in Talisman I was still struggling with quite a few bosses - Museum, for one. In Perandus, I've killed some bosses accidentally without noticing. Grats to Chrono and PureRnd - nice gear and good progress towards the challenges.
I may bite the bullet this league and go for an Empower 4 - The Dragon's Heart were selling for about an exalt each and if it stays at about that price I'll go that route. Unfortunately my weapon switch gem slots will be occupied for some time working on 21/20 skill gems. |

I am thinking to use this instead of Goldwyrm for now:
Is the defence boost good enough? 8% charges with Blood rage almost 100% up will give me 16% extra dodge? I checked the build guide for the items, with iir uniques on hands and legs, and two rings that minus resistance and the chest slot taken by carcass jack, how is it possible to max out resists? The recommended build tree does'nt maximize the resist nodes reachable, I guess we could lower the pierce or project damage area nodes to mix in more hp + rez. I just managed to get lucky with some currency, but I am not sure if I should invest in more iir items after getting a 5L +2/3 bow. I don't even have an empower gem yet, so maybe +3 bow can also wait. |

" You max out resistances with a good evasion chest (while progressing) and your belt. You can also augment resists with jewels (or if really needed, temporarily spec some resist nodes from the tree). Your gloves, helmet and amulet should also provide at least 1 good resist roll each. When you master-craft your +3 bow, you'll get some resists there as well at which point you'll be able to cap resists while wearing a carcass jack.
