@shino in many cases a +1 point is worth more then % attack speed ( if you get with the extra point a jewl socket or a major node )

personal i prefer passiv point over cruel ( cast / as ), so you have "more" room to improve your skilltree and can better min/max it

and i can see even with a good 4 modded jewl is woth it ^^

its to get charisma passives. without charisma wheel you cant find mana to reserve for herald of ash

Just tested, charisma isn't needed afterall if level 4 enlighten in the major aura links, and a level 3 with ash (or ice in a coh setup).

Could it work fine with 10-15ex(maybe even 20?).

I like scaling builds too but i cant farm more then like 6ex for one item cause i want something for my money then :D.

Could you maybe tell me how much this build would need without skyforth? more then 10 ex to work up too tier 15? more then 20?

And COULD you level with it and farm up or is it nearly impossible!?


Ps. just want too make sure that we talk about the same amount of time/currency :).
Last league i had 6link qotf 6linked belly and overall probably like 20-25ex spend what is probably semi budget.

Sorry, I know it's a late response. You can get this build off the ground with the amount of currency you are talking about, for sure. I know a few people trying this as their league starter and it's definitely doable. If you think this looks fun, then go for it! I can assure you it can do t15 maps with that amount of currency. However, it won't be exactly as faceroll as you see in the video. And getting skyforths and vinktar are going to be HUGE power spikes so try to get them (obviously the flask first) as soon as possible.

I had like 117 mana with hatred , herald of ice , discipline before patch and after the patch realised i have 43 mana.So i have big problem with skills what exactly changed ? how can i fix it any suggestions ?

Nothing should have changed to your mana. Mine is exactly the same. Have you changed anything yourself? Skyforths? Enlighten level? Were you investing into any mana reservation nodes?

absolutely same , i dont understand what happened unless smth changed on skill tree cuz havent touch my equipment. 43/ 1451 total mana , Reserved 1408.One solution would be to get englight 4 for helmet but if smth havent changed on you , what im missing.Maybe take a look my profile

Nothing changed your mana should be close to what it was. The tree posted assumes you use a lvl 4 enlighten gem. With only a lvl 3 your mana will probably be in the 50-60's. Are you sure you did not take any mana reserve nodes or a better question would be did you use a gem before that helped that you are not using now, etc. Yet as mentioned already as for mana reserve nothing has changed in general.

I did same skill path as in blasting_cap's skill tree which was elit version i guess ? Filled tree directly on his own character's , not one in guide. I cant exactly remember if here was mana nodes within paths and i had somehow same set up 117+ mana with level,3 enlight. Im lil bit confused and trying to figure out for hours actually LOL

well I would spec into charisma for now until you get a couple lvl 4 enlightens that will solve the issue. Running his setup without lvl 4's will put you in the exact situation you are having now.

If you have no enlighten and no Skyforth, how do you get powercharges? Is charisma enough to support HoI, Hatred and Discipline? I can maybe try to get a level 2 Enlighten, but definitely not a level 3. I guess PCoC is an option but I feel like that's a HUGE DPS loss. I could also spec into Influence I guess, since that also has a 4% mana reduction node.


Also, are the Links listed in terms of Effectiveness? I only have 2 4Ls atm so I'm not sure for best gem setups. I'm currently thinking:

LA: LA+LMP+WED+Increased Crit or PPAD
Blast Rain: BR + WED+PPAD+Elemental Focus

Finally, why is Barrage used over Blast Rain? I haven't played bow build for a few leagues, but back when I played it blast rain was king. Does the additional projectiles on Reach/Opus make barrage better or is it just that barrage is easier to spam or something?

Edit: Just realized you have to use PTL to get 100% Conversion on Blast Rain/Barrage, so probably replace PPAD or Focus for that?

And for flasks, what would be the best two before Vinktar's and Dying Sun? Atziri Flask because it's cheap and gives a lot of damage, and like a Jade or Basalt for the mitigation?
