Just posting an update after 3 weeks of working on the build. Come a long way. One of the most fun builds I've played since open beta. Definitely ranks up there with the old pure phys KB wanders of last year and early power siphon builds as far as clear speed and boss killing. Really have a lot of fun. Many thanks to Blasting and everyone that helped me make tweaks along the way.

Still working on the Uber Boot enchant for Pen. Have to farm Izaro anyway for 40/40 so I am hoping to hit on one of those attempts.

Looking for some bow advice.
At a point where my next biggest upgrade would be the bow. Still using Death's Opus. Did some comparisons in Path of Building and the Deaths Opus yields almost the same damage as a 450 PDPS Harbinger with 30%~ Crit chance AND 30%~ Crit damage. I knew the 2 extra arrows were something, but I thought that 400 pdps would easily beat the Opus.

The comparison is of Barrage only (obivously there's never an issue of clearing trash so I dont care about LA\Ice-shot damage) and it includes the number of arrows (11 with Opus, 9 with Harbinger).

Has anyone compared that before? What do you guys think?

This is correct. It is fairly hard to beat a death's opus for barrage dps unless you have dying sun and additional arrows from quiver. Blowing your wealth on a half rate 400 pds harbindger is ill advised in some cases.

I have +2 Helm and Dying sun. No +1 quiver yet, but I even tried with 1 more arrow and the diff was very little.
I was saving up to be able to afford some 70ex bow and now i'm shocked :o


EDIT: Also, the links that I compared were different since the Opus lacks in PDPS. I compared:
Opus : Barrage - Elemental Focus - Phys to Light - Weapon Ele - Added Lightning - Faster Attacks
450 PDPS Harb : Barrage - Elemental Focus - Phys to Light - Weapon Ele - Phys Proj Attack - Added Fire

Also: With Opus I used Wrath, with the 450PDPS I used Hatred.

At least these seemed to me like the highest effective DPS in Path of Building for each bow. I tried lightning penetration instead of faster attacks but barely a difference, even when configuring it against Shaper\Guardian.

On a side note, anything to improve on these links? Especially on the Opus ones which I'm currently using?

Keep in mind PoB is not perfect. There are some in game play style factors that are not wholly assessed by numbers alone. Crit consistency for example.

Added cold or slower proj is likely much more dps than p2l for opus.

Hi, I have a question.

I'm using HOI linked with assassin's mark and COH. I would like to know why it doesn"t work?

I don't have enlighten support lvl 4 linked with this 3gems.

And now i'm asking if COH linked with HOI and poarcher's mark work too? or it's the same problem as assassin's mark?

In fact i saw someone who wrote " you don"t need pcoc if you have assassin's mark with HOI and COH" but it doesn't work.

Hello.
Combination HoI + CoH + mark doesn't work on solo target for barrage. It works only when you are slaying enemies.
Or you mean another?
