You can search after nodes in the passive tree

So..first time ever playing a Wanderer and I'm loving it. Good guide overall!

Wanted to see what I needed to potentially upgrade next. I know my passive tree is "decent" possibly jewel upgrades?



I have 29 ex left to spent, so nothing should really be far out of my reach. I know Opal's will be a good damage boost at 80. Anything else though?

Possibly a Stygian Vise? Although..i think my leather belt is pretty decent tbh. And I need Vaal Haste gems in my shield.

Am i missing anything else? Right now in PoB my KB damage is around 80k and my Barrage with all projectiles is 880k.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I got no access to pob right now so i can't point out everything. But obvious changes you should make are:

1. get a diamond flask. This is an absolute must. Replace it with the life flask when you feel that you have enough life and can handle it. But for now replace with jade or stibnite (probably jade, stibnite is more defensive)

2. get more life on your gloves/shield/belt. And your amulet has 0 life on it, if you plan to keep using a rare amulet get a life roll on it.

3. Opal rings. But for now, at least craft flat lightning damage on your two-stone ring :p

4. Try to keep your flask up all the time, remember this is a flask build. Manage them right and they will take care of you.

5.Do something about your accuracy. Either get rings/amulet with good accuracy rolls, or use a lycosidae. I would highly recommend lycosidae since its really op and allows you to not have to worry about accuracy at all..good jewelry with accuracy can be pricey and hard to obtain.

And don't forget to quality your blue flasks.

Tbh the diamond flask alone should make a significant difference to your build, gl out there!

i think i got quite some good gear and its my second season playing wander. ty for the guide btw. but i never understood why spending 4 points for heart of oak and primal spirit is worth it. i even run hot as 3rd aura because of my shield so i need to take a % inc mana node - but still primal spirit seems not worth it. and also in the end end wander game im not sure if its not better to skill 4 points out phase acrobatics and back from there and use the points to get another jewel or sth. at last just fyi i dont like hot as 3rd aura. makes no dps boost i can feel somehow or really see. my h/o barrage dps without flasks is around 50k and with hot 1-2k more. some other options for 3rd aura ? or switch to haste/wrath better maybe and give up shatter hoi combo ? im not sure. ty for replies and tips for improving my wander in advance. very thankful for any useful improvements. i got a wand with flat light dmg 160, fire dmg 80 crit 30+ crit multi 20+ attack speed 12% that does same damage than piscator. in case ur wondering why i still wear it - it still has additional 5% light pen and the acc proves to be quite useful, im at 93%. remember im on hc and already very low on life with 5k. yes thats low for hc imo. hf playing wander boyz.

Heart of Oak, is mainly taken for Stun Avoidance. 28% doesn't sound much, but paired with the other layers of Defense really helpful.
Otherwise you will get nearly perma-stunned by Spark Skeletons on the way to Uber Atziri for example.
I think thats a really important aspect, also it's 4% life per node.

Primal Spirit, next so some handy str. and int., 20% increased flask charges gained.
No need to say more.

You can sure drop Phase acro etc.
But defense in this game is like, you never really feel the investment useful until you died or nearly died to something.
I can't tell how many times i accidently tanked a uber atziri flameblast or similar and survived it.
I don't miss any damage or anything so investing into some defensive stats that save your ass is pretty neat.
Are you having no quality on gems on purpose? And where is the empower next to wrath?

Why did you take Mind Drinker one essence sap mana leech node is enough.
One Passive Point saved right there.

You are level 94 in HC i think you know what you are doing, all i can say about my pathing is it's pretty much justified by the content i run ;)

Anyhow, I was going to ask a question but it seems with the shaped shield that Al_Cap has, he ditched the Empower for Herald of Thunder + Wrath + Enlighten and HoI in another slot. Doesn't this setup grant a bit more flat lightning damage compared to Empowerered Wrath setup?

I'm still tweaking my gears around, just hit 80, so plenty to do and lots of crafting to be done. I'm in a bit of a pinch though and I can decide weather to switch to one of the wands I can Mastercraft/Slam:

Tyvm for the clarification. I understand now the usefulness, havent tried uber atziri or shaper but killed elder 2 times. But now i know why i need it. I will try shaper these days for the first time and let u know how it went :)

Thats also what i want to know and thats the reason i need the second mana node (Mind Drinker). i cannot support herald of thunder as 3rd aura without more mana. i currently have ~130 mana with 3 auras and can fire kb 3-4 times, thats minimum for me.

a little advice, use a tabula rasa or a rare 6 link until you can afford a queen of the forest 6 linked....otherwise single target damage will feel very weak and frustrating
