[3.14] Flame Golem 101 - Complete Guide To Golemancy, ✔️All Bosses Down, ✔️Necro, ✔️Elementalist
Hello there I followed the guide and can't seem to get enough mana to cast Flame Golem since it requires around 315 mana and after running my auras the remaining mana I only have left is 251. I'm currently using enhance lvl 4 and empower 4 but even without enhance I still don't have enough. Profile is public hoping you could take a look for me? :)

I've been playing around with gem links since I hate Animate Guardian and want to remove it and I think I ended up with something good here. I'm using this setup:
Golem links are not changed. Also note the +1 level corruption on the shield. This setup is a bit more manual (mainly self-cast Offering), but it has some strong sides to it, namely: * Can cast any second curse as opposed to guardian that can only cast whatever corrupted implicits offer and can't swap it out * CWC convocation/curse is much more reliable than CWDT * Has Scorching Ray -fire res * Bone Offering is much stronger thanks to Empower * Has extra space on CWDT (I used Tempest Shield) I am somewhat lost on where to put Desecrate. Right now my main options are link it to CWDT, swap it instead of Convocation (white socket on boots) for bosses or keep it on manual cast. I'm more inclined towards swapping it in: leaves me with another CWDT socket and Convocation is probably a bad idea on bosses anyway since it messes positioning up. Any thoughts? | |
" " Hello :) Your profile is private which makes checking gear and tree harder. Your EHP seems to be enough for Shaper fight if you can just dodge the biggest hits. Golems could use 20/20 or 21/0 for extra beefiness. Survival of Golems comes down to number of Harmonies, Golem level and if you have Kaltensoul equipped with Necro Aegis. Levels give Golems huge HP pool, Harmonies stack regen to ridiculous amounts and kaltensoul nerfs Shapers damage which is fire and cold. With level 24 Golems, 4-5x Harmonies and Kaltensoul your Golems should be able to tank Shaper even if you are dead. Make also sure that you have 2x jewels with "9-10% all elemental resistances to minions". Golems need 19% extra ele res to reach 75% cap after base 40% and 16% from tree. Capping ele res is extremely important. " Hey :) Only lines that have "Minions" or "Golems" affect minions or Golems. Everything else only you, so you will get area damage and Golems minion damage from jewel. " Hey and thanks for support ^^ Gz on very early level Shaper kill! Btw your discipline is in contact with your enhance. It eats more mana and adds only some radius, so you might want to put Temp Chains in 3 link and Discipline in solo gems slot. Phase run should also be in bottom-left slot in gloves. CWDT cast linked gems in order : up-left, up-right, bottom-right, bottom-left. If anything gets cast after Phase Run, it can cancel the 80% aggro totally. Rest of gear and links look good :) " Hey :) Without "Soul Weaver" node Specters will have low life and only 2,5% regen from tree. This makes them die very easily. Also AG is the only way to give them 6% extra regen per sec when it blocks, so dropping AG for specters is not very effective. 4 link Specters are also not very effective, so I don't think mixing them is very effective. Ofc tests have to be done to find out if its possible, but I can make them only later when I reach lvl 100 in league. If you make your own tests and they look promising, please share results here ;) " " Hey :) Flame Golems die only in few situations : - Shaper can kill them at low level - Uber Atziri can kill them - Vaal Temple can kill them - Hall of Gm can kill them Nothing else should kill them after they reach level 24 or higher and have 4-5 Harmonies for regen. Animate Guardian gives them 6% extra regen and draws aggro from them, so they are are almost immortal against anything below Shaper tier. Being able to recast them is not needed very often. You can spec into more mana reservation reduction if you want to be able to recast them, but I don't think its necessary. " Hello :) You should make Vertex 3 and 1 link. You don't want Discipline to be affected enhance as it reserves more mana and adds only some aura radius. Links look very interesting and if you can focus on keeping Offer up all the time, it should be good. Generally i don't recommend manual casting either Desecrate or Offfering as it takes focus from kiting and becomes risk, but players are many type and some can multi-task better. After level 20 Bone offer gives only 0,5% block per level which is very small benefit. Just "Tempest Shield" adds 3% extra block, which is worth +6 extra levels on Bone offer and takes only 1 gem slot. Even with Empower 4 and Bone offer 21/20 you get 3% more block from the when its in the shield. SR works great for lowering res and CWC + second curse looks good together. Convo can be too much and mess Golems AI if you spam it too often. I would probably link myself Gloves : Cwdt 1 -> Desecrate -> Concocation -> Phase Run Boots : SR -> Cwc -> Second curse -> Tempest Shield +1 Shield Bone Offering -> Empower -> Inc Dur This way you will have maximal defense when you get hit. " one thing can kill them even with lvl 24 and 5 harmonies. had a rogue exile boss with spectral throw in t15 overgrown shrine (or ruin?) map that just raped them really hard (and me 3 times..) damn physical dmg! |

" Right, didn't think about the auras too much. Still can't cast golems after unlinking Discipline, but it did give me around 50 extra mana back. For Offering, I was mainly focusing on getting a little extra spell block out of it since it's somewhat lower than regular block. As far as convocation goes, it still has its 8 second cooldown so you can't really spam it. Not having to stand in a pack to proc it on CWDT because my golems refuse to teleport on their own however has been a massive improvement for me personally. It is definitely a mess on bosses, which is why I'm looking to swap it out. Don't see the point in having Tempest Shield on CWC since it refreshes itself. Perhaps skeletons would be a good one for some extra distraction/projectile blocking? With Desecrate, I don't know what's the best option. It's only ever needed on bosses, but if it's on CWDT, you need to get hit by the boss and I don't really like how that sounds. Sure it's only 500 damage, but walking into any of Shaper's attacks to spawn some corpses doesn't feel like a good idea. I will only start trying for major bosses on that build once I finally hit 80 for my new crystal belt (should push me over 7k EHP), but so far swapping it into that white boot socket instead of conv worked pretty well. Will have to see how that works out on guardians. | |

My question is, how is the value of quality vs lvl in the Summon Flame Golem gem? Is it worth the 23% quality vs the lvl 21? Is enhance worth? | |
" you mean empower support vs enhance support? according to path of building the golem looses dps and 5k life. a lvl 21 golem gem with 20% quality is also better then a 20/23. even a 21/0 is better ten a 20/23 |
