I'm getting really discouraged.

OP's insane number involes Blasphemy with Projectile Weakness, mirrored legacy gear, and pretty much any GG stat you can get on his items. At best, with mimicking most of his setup (I do not use Orb of Storms for Power Charges) and using an Abyssus with +30% Proj. Weakness effect I reach 1.54m~ DPS with Barrage during all effects. You're missing a Diamond Flask, WED rolls, and I assume you have a real bossing amulet.

6L, quality gems, Wise Oak, and/or Diamond Flask, and Ele Damage rolls on your rings.

Finally managed to trade/farm like a madman and was able to buy some upgrades and balance my resists. Just killed Hydra at level 90 and it was an absolute breeze. Can't wait to do the other 3 and Shaper. Could facetank my way through most of the fight and the damage is absolutely absurd. He went down in 15 seconds.

I do agree though that for mapping, the Abyssus is not needed for damage. If you're skipping bosses, you'll be fine, but otherwise I just stick to my Starkonja's.

I've also never bothered to re-colour my Doomfletches, so I'm using chance to bleed instead of increased crit. Will be trying increased crit soon to see what I prefer.

Monster of a build and probably my favorite to play so far. I just love the speed of the Pathfinder and having a good mapping build that's capable of clearing all the content and just rip through bosses is awesome! Thanks Ahfack for making this. I'm having a blast.

my Average barrage damage is "27697" and total dps is "283623" in pob, yet even t12/t13 bosses still take me more than i would think to kill, so there's no hope of even guardians or shaper at this point.

I'm really hoping there's something i'm missing - please help me out.

You are missing some phys on your gear. Remember, the Doomfletch prism scales off of phys, so the more you have, the better it is. I'd try to get some on your gloves, your cold damage ring and your belt. I bought a cheap rustic sash that upped my damage by quite a bit.

Also, you could roll weapon elemental on a belt and boots. The boots I have aren't amazing, but they where pretty cheap, and the elemental I could roll on them was a good damage upgrade. I just ran a couple of days of merc/uber labs for the enchants which are also a huge upgrade in damage and made a lot of currency in the process to buy upgrades with.

A diamond flask isn't needed for mapping, but it's a must have on bigger bosses. I'd roll one with bleed immunity.

-Accuracy on gear! Even 350 or so make a massive difference since you are rolling twice for crit.

- no attack speed on gloves

- no crit multi on ammu (may be expensive)

- rings are so so. Mine were 100c combined and not that crazy. But if you compare them with yours..

- not even a half-decent helm enchant

- lvl 19 0q gems..this is a loss of about of a link...

-diamond-flask? Wise-oak balance. We dont get THAT much pen elsewhere..so its huge. Also a huge pain to balance, I agree with you here.

TLDR You managed the "hard" part with 6l, kaoms and flasks. Now its time to cash in with some finetuning and you'll be fine.

After taste of hate, dying sun, and wise oak:
Cold 95%

Anyone know what I did wrong?


EDIT: I DONT HAVE ASCENDENCY YET FOR FLASK EFFECTIVENESS, I THINK THAT IS ISSUE :D

yep u are right missing 2 labs so thats 10% flask effect, it gonna be ok when u get ur points

the nodes are taken because of the jewel lions eye fall. It transforms all attack nodes into bow nodes within the radius. Those claw nodes are the best ones to take with that jewel.

I went and killed Phoenix with Yriel's Fostering and a couple easy mods. It's my usual mapping setup, except the Bestial Minion is modded with a bunch of low level gems for testing. I'm level 95, but I'll gimp my gear with older stuff and run some farming T14-15 maps later. I'll also try to record The Shaper, but I've only killed him once.

I know the OP said they prefer Tornado shot over LA. Could you evaluate a bit more? I seem to get more dmg on PoB with LA and swapping some gems up for LA and TS. Just want to know what the big reason is, if there are any. Thanks.
