hey would you change anything for hc ? besides not wearing abyssus ?
i would like to try this build but im not sure if i should pick pathfinder or a more defensive option ? im a total noob at bow builds thanks for advice : ) |

" Don't use Abyssus. At all. It's basically for Shaper only because the physical damage taken increase is far too much. It's not about Vaal Pact's nerf so much as you'll die to one-shots. You don't even need it for smashing other content, and there's a lot of great substitute helms. I speculated in the past it might be possible with a mitigation Vinktar and Lightning Coil in the mix, but it's just not a realistic investment. " Reach doesn't convert physical to elemental by default. You'd be better off following a physical conversion (or just a physical) build to achieve the desired scaling necessary. |

It's the one great item I have, but I feel I'm not using it at its fullest. I will try to get a Doomfletch though for your build... Here since Closed Beta. Never found a Mirror. Still love PoE. :- )

could you make a quick check on my current gear. I hit 90 yesterday and would try shaper as next. I tried phoenix with lvl 88 and died around 3 times, mostly because of his stupid adds. according to POB i should get around 950k DPS on shaper/guardian Im pretty unsecure about it, since i only killed him once with my LL/RF/SR guardian. Mapping is as smooth as it could be, i just have to learn not to go afk within a map because some sneaky mob can kill you. Life is at 6k atm and fire/frost is balanced for oak.

How does this build counter reflect? Have tried yugul's but I'm still getting destroyed by phys or ele reflect. Had to abandon a t14 map because it was just impossible with ele reflect on it even with yuguls. Or do we just roll over reflect maps?

Quality your gear/flasks 2. dont level your second main dps gems (barrage/TS) in your main gear. 3. i wouldnt use blood rage, since you dont have the leech from a slayer and you can get in trouble while no mobs are around. 4. Youre taste of hate has the lowest roll, try to get a little more damage converted. YOu cant run phys reflect, they just flat oneshot you. You should be able to run ele reflect, but you shouldnt stay inside the mobs because point blank and the new reflect mechanics are gonna hurt really bad. " Okay so in regards to reflect I will probably just have to reroll any reflect mods since its just flat out impossible for me. Not too sure what the second point means, I dont have a level 20 barrage/ts yet cause I'm still in the leveling process, only level 88 atm. I don't use blood rage much I just have it in there incase I'm in a faceroll map where I can just run around and not care. Also, I'm pretty sure my taste of hate has the highest roll? on POE wiki it says max is 20% phys damage as extra cold is max. (15-20). |
