I see. I asked because to me Heretic seems just as good if not better, since you free up Blasphemy and you can use Enhance support, which adds a lot of extra goodness to the curses, while only having 4% less quality from a regular Blasphemy gem, and lvl 4 Enhance straight up surpassed it. Heretic also has free mana reserved reduction included, which really helps in general.

I like your build, maybe I'll try it out in Delve with some tweaks. I think I'll add in Blight via Allelopathy for more upfront active damage, and I was thinking other than Breath of the Council or Decay weapon or Rippling Thoughts , new Delve unique Cerberus Limb may be an interesting choice. With that, I would use a heavy AR shield like Lioneye's Remorse to get quite a chunky ES+Life+AR, and 30% block which enables life leech. Spec in Ghost Reaver to ES leech, and throw in Atziri's Promise for even more leech. But I don't know if the 50% less ES recharge rate hurts more than 0.5% and 2% from Atziri.

Any thoughts?

Edit: My bad, Enhance doesn't affect Blasphemy.

with what skill you want to leech? only essence drain hit damage can and thats not very much.

essence drain when u hit with give u back regen for ur damge or are not leech we are recharge and regen

I've been playing this build since delve started.
Loved playing ED+Contagion.

I've been trying to make a Spell dmg + decay 1h Sai.
Used probably 15 essence of delirium without good results. :P
I tried on a shaped Sai, dno if it's the best, though.

Atm at tier 10 maps - I don't buy maps - I just like chilling maps and doing delve whenever I can. :D

Would love some input from anyone here as well about how to optimize it.
I asked Pohx(streamer) who also made a similar build about what I should do to optimize dmg, and he wanted me to get the Aspect of the Spiderhttps://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Fenumus%27_Weave

You can get Rare item with level 20 Aspect of the Spider. item won't be good, but prices starts at 1c.
