I am a fairly new Gladiator player (started playing during Harbinger League) giving a try to Occultist for the very first time. I was looking into Witch builds in the forum and your build caught my attention. I started levelling your build on 4 april. I reached level 80 today. Can you please check my build and give suggestions regarding what further can be done to improve my build? I got 36% increased Wither duration after completing Uber Lab for the very first time at level 79. I assume this is the second best option after "blight" rolls. Am I correct? " Hey there Nephan! Wither duration probably isn't that great, but it could have been so much worse! Ideally you'll want to get curse effectiveness for despair. Overall your gear looks pretty decent, you could probably get another 100-200 es on your shield, most of it is just going to be small upgrades on your gear though. I'm basically a brand new player this league, and my first real character is an occultist (trying) to utilize your build. I'm maybe 50% of the way to it being "complete," if that's even possible.
Question is: I just set up my boots for immortal call + cast when damage taken, but I'm super confused as to how you get endurance charges? You need to generate and then expel them for IC to work, right? Thanks for the build! YourAfricanLover 님이 2018. 4. 8. 오전 7:15:13에 마지막으로 편집

" From what I understand, Immortal Call has a base duration and endurance charges only increase that duration, but are not required for the Immortal Call to work. WIthout any endurance charges the invulerability to physical damage will be very short(base duration is 0.4s), but it still can help a lot with spike damage. nefczi 님이 2018. 4. 8. 오전 10:08:24에 마지막으로 편집

Thanks for the answer @FlasherCatcher . I found another shield which increased ES for another 250 points.
I did not strictly follow your build but your character itself (some gem set-ups in your character were different than the guide). Currently I have 6 aura set-ups as follows: Despair, Discipline, Temporal Chains, Enfeeble, Vitality & Purity of Elements. I can only have 5 auras up at a time. For my elemental resistances are capped, I do not use Purity of Elements while mapping. I believe Purity of ELements is there to run maps lowering down our resistance & you also use 5 auras at a time. Is it correct? If it is the case, which aura are you swapping it with when you are using it? What would you replace Purity of ELements gem with if you would remove this gem from your character? Alright guide, but kind of just jumps from level 30 to 68 on the skill tree with no explanation at all, and none on the respec. Decent first part of a guide, but failing in areas pretty bad. Keep trying.

" That is correct, I'm just using Purity of Elements for Elemental weakness maps. I usually swap out temp chains or enfeeble it doesn't really matter which one, most monsters will be dead before they can hit you. Overall the guide is just there to guide you, I won't hunt you down and make you follow it exactly (mostly because I'm constantly changing things on my own character, and I would have to hunt down a lot of people which gets expensive.) " Guide jumps from 30 to 68?

I don't think players need there hand held for each level. Comparing the two trees, one should be able to understand where they need to put points from 30 to 62.
