Depends what content you're doing.

For high health, mostly stationary bosses like Shaper and Mino, he's absolutely bonkers and directly helps your TV's totem's melt through them like butter. For me, he's a must have for those types of fights, but that also means that you must beef him up via level 21 gem + empower 4 ideally.

If you're not farming shaper/guardians yet, AG isn't necessary as it's a massive overkill. My sweet spot for anything pre-shaper/atziri are 1 TV/3 SG's.

I've crafted shield to free up my ammy slot. Turned out quite okay. Was wondering if I should slam it? Or is it too shitty because of the crappy base and just use it as it. Also, can't really find anything like it. Any idea how much would it be worth?

Id slam it, tons of good prefixes u can hit like endu charge on block/chill on block/gain life on block etc.

Is there any reason Deadly Ailments isn't used over Chance to Ignite/Minion Resistance for the 6th link? Does Deadly Ailments not work for spectres? I guess it doesn't work because it only supports abilities that hit?

Since Scorching Ray doesn't apply an ailment, but a burning debuff, DA does not work with it.

so your losing a solid helmet slot/4link pseudo 6-7l for 1 TV ? Im wondering what to do and any feedback is welcome. I play hc,just hit 70. Do you think it be easier/jus as good runnig the 4SGs/ 3 flame golems variant?

What type of stats should I be looking for on jewels? Is there an abyss stat combo that's strong for the spectres or should I just stick with old school cobalt jewels?

Define "losing". I am clearing all of the game's content with excellent speed and able to take down any boss with pretty much any mod. Whether it's 1 TV or 3-4 TV's, they play a big contributing role in accomplishing this.

As for FG's - I don't like them. I tried them and thought they were great at first, but they're just completely unnecessary. And in fact, they quickly lose out to SG's in effectiveness once you're doing t15+. 3-4 SG's socketed with 1 unending hunger is all you need. And you save yourself from buying all of the required primordial gems and 3-4 extra sockets.

Abyss jewels are OP. Check my character (WhenImReadyAndNotBefor) for some of the stats you'd want.

These are pretty much the best u can get.

Life > Minion dmg if skill used recently > mana > taunt/blind/dmg

Hi,

great build but please remove from the front page the Tukohoma's fortress Ebony Tower Shield.
I've spend 6 ex just to realize it does not work as expected (no additionnal totems...)

You need to have Necromantic Aegis passive for the additional totem
