There really isn't any way to combine gems for SGs and TVs, I'm afraid. The folks that are running both are putting one in a helm and the other in the chest. With the elder helms floating around with extra minion damage, you can get a psuedo 5 link, which makes SGs powerful enough for clearing - especially when backed up by a TV or two. I haven't tried running SGs just for clearing with only a 4L, but it's worth a shot. The other option is to supplement your TVs with flame golems. FGs in a 4L can clear most trash mobs pretty easily - the caveat is you should supplement them with some primordial jewels, which does cut down your TVs raw damage output. I'm the one that has suggested Chance to Ignite now and then, and I pulled that right from Natt's original setup on the first page. I haven't tested it personally, I trust that he knows something I don't. :) Thanks for your review! For the gear, as I said, I played 2 other characters before this one, and adding up, it's nearly 11 days of playtime. I have a tendency to stash a lot of items so I re-use a lot! Yeah that's what I thought. I've never found any real good Elder/Shaper items so maybe my luck will come one day. I tried recently to play with a 4 link flame golem (FG, Minion Damage, GMP, Spell Echo), but the damage wasn't good enough for just clearing T13 for ex. So I tried with a Clayshaper instead of Advancing Fortress to get 2 golems (I have 2 primordial jewels - including the agressive one - but no Anima stone). Clear was better, but block chances were bad so I died a little too much. So I came back with my classic set-up. Anyway, thanks again for the review! EDIT : Forgot, why Elemental Weakness instead of Flamability if we use Solar Guards, TV and/or Flame golems? Hello all! I've been running a SG necromancer with Wyrmsign & Ahn's Heritage + Fragility JWls for the Rampage bonus. Currently I'm gathering the currency for a 6l Vis Mortis. What I'd like to know is: 1. what is the best setup for Animate Guardian? Malformation Piety killed it in a heartbeat. I was using: Leer Cast, Zahn's chest, Dying Breath, Victario's Flight + decent resi + life gloves. What gems should I use to make it stronger? 2. Somehow related to 1st question, should I give up on zombies and get a better gem setup for AG? If so, what gems should I use? 3. What could I improve on my build? The character is IleanaCosânzeanaAbyss. 4. If I'd like to go on the IIQ route what items could improve that? 5. How to the Golems work? Thank you for reading and may you get many exalts :) Is the best setup for AG in my case as I run TV's in my helmet otherwise the best possible setup would be AG in a +minion level helm with those gems. I dropped zombies in favor of keeping my golem buffed along with my AG, and I don't miss zombies at all as I'd rather have a nearly immortal stone golem. Everyone has their preferences, though, so test it out for yourself. As for IIQ - It's not really the build for it. You can make it work, but you'd be giving things up for it as we are very socket starved, don't get natural dex in tree, and need some block chance. I followed your advices and got nice corruptions on my gear now and played around a lot with different flask combinations. I think I reached my maximum now. I can play the whole content deathless and see no way for further improvement beside the helmet. But the market is currently empty....
