You need to keep your mana pool unreserved otherwise MoM is useless. And I only use 1 UH. In the interim I can get a Stone with either additional curse, or 20% minion damage.. Both are quite tempting!! I'm leaning towards curse, but am not sure which is the better choice.. I must admit, I did spend a tidy sum on that shield. There are other options, of course - life gained on block, or skip the gain on block entirely and find one with % block chance applied to spells, with life and resists. I'd lean towards extra damage. The additional curse is nice on regular map bosses, but guardians / shaper all have seriously reduced curse effectiveness, so I'd rather front load the damage. HI Grimjack, just looked at your char in detail and I'm pretty sure that you are wasting a lot of potential with taking this shield. If you would go for Lioneyes you would boost your life and armor. The Anvil gives you only one effective stat and thats 3% block. All other stats are just outperformed when switching that shield. So you you can get even more life and armor if you get a better amulet with spellblock and other stats. With the armor from lioneyes you have potentially as with your essence worm and the aura. So you could get a ways better ring with more life and mana. In total you are trading around 1000+ combined life and mana for 3% block chance. I feel like no matter how I do I am still lacking tankiness or dps output significantly compare to last league with 3TV+1WM set up. right now I am sitting at 6,200 hp with 2,700 mana. I am wondering should I switch to all SG or use the remorse shield to be tankier? Also have tried VisMoti but my hp just tanked to around 5k, really not good. You've taken a lot of ineffective minion nodes and shield nodes that could all be invested into life and jewels.Vis Mortis would drastically increase your dps. You can have a look at my build and gear. I have more than 11k health+mana and around 1.5k ES + 30% Armour. I swap shield / amulet / aura based on what content I'm doing. What you are looking at is the high red map tier setup. Still looking to pick up a 6/7 link helm so I can add in TVs when I want to. I'd be set up much closer to your suggestions for guardians or shaper - lioneyes, amulet with spell block, I'd pull all my dex nodes off the tree for extra life and armour, because on guardians or more I don't care about running haste, slow and steady wins the race. However, explaining how and why to respec my character for various challenges is far outside the scope of this thread, so I try to keep it simple. Also, telling new players that I spend ~10 regret orbs every time I switch between fighting Shaper and running maps tends to scare them away!
