Absolutely. I haven't spent even 1 full exalt yet, although I did scoop some pieces for super cheap. Haven't made it up to red maps yet, still filling in my atlas in my normal ocd manner, but I'll be shocked if I have any problems. If anything it's getting easier as I add character levels and gem levels / quality, and the content level be damned.

I did a master rotation today, 5 / 6 of the people were playing this build or some variant.

Raise Spectre / Burning Damage / Elemental Focus / and then either Minion and Totem Elemental Resistance or Swift Affliction, depending on whether you need the resists for your spectres.

I was thinking of switching Ahn's Contempt with a nice shaped helm that would give me another 6-link. Would I regret taking increased crit damage? I have 31% physical damage reduction, about 8-9k effective hit points, crit damage reduction belt and indominatable. Currently running 4 reckless defense jewels.

I probably wouldn't, however, as long as you're not playing Hardcore league, just wait until you level, then set it up and give it a go. If you die several times right away, it's probably not surviveable. :)

My dps is already through the roof. My spec damage modifier is 350% and the zombies are 335%. Ball lightning is way to slow for incursions. One click and every mob in sight has temp chains and flammability.

Slowing 50 plus mobs is going to give me way more survivability than a few Ehp.

So I guess its what you value and how you play. Im having no issues clearing incursions.

The way they have it setup is you get considerably more loot with a complete clear, architect and portals. Have gotten as many as 5 uniques and a full screen of loot and currency. The currency adds up fast.

This is a great way to get your dual curse out there without sacrificing multiple projectiles. That Careful Planning jewel is genius, too.

OTOH, I don't think your Unending Hunger has enough Int in it's radius.

Dropping in to mention that the 'minions have % increased damage if you've used a minion skill recently' affix on abyss jewels does not proc from a CWDT bone offering and lasts just 3 seconds. So basically, unless you're spamming convo or manual offerings every 3 seconds, the stacking of those jewels is massively pointless, especially on end-game fights where you don't have the time to manual-cast something every 3 seconds.

On tough fights, I loop through:

Whirling blades (to proc Fortify) -> Desecrate - WB - Bone Offering - WB - Curse.

As a matter of fact, if I need to pull a gem, the increased duration attached to my offerings is one of the first to go, because I need to be casting those regularly anyway.

PSA: Keep your WB end points as close as possible to increase recovery speed.

I finally decided to switch my setup around after failing to kill Tier 15 elder in 6 portals and also failing to even kill an architect in tier 15/16 incursion (i'm terrible at this game)

went from..
3x Flame golems in the 4 link elder helm (+burning support and minion damage mods)
2x Solar guards/2x fire eaters in a 6 link vis mortis

to

4x flame golems in the 6 link vis mortis (clay shaper instead of +95% minion dmg sceptre)
4x TV's in the 4 link elder helm


What a difference, obliterated Tier 15 Elder with only one death (didn't save shaper though) and easily fully completed tier 15/16 incursions. Clear speed doesn't really seem to have been impacted much thanks to the extra flame golem.


Question on links for the TV's...
I have an Elder Helm with +1 minions, Supported Minion Damage and Burning Damage. Problem is that it's an armor helm.. so trying to get 3b1g is a bit annoying, spent 50c on chromes with no luck, settled on 2b1g1r. (calculator estimates an average of about 1300 chromes to get the right color...)

What red support gem makes the most sense in that setup? Right now I'm using Fire Pen

Fam, vorici socket coloring is a godsend for summoner. Take armor helm vorici it to two sockets, vorici 2 blue, spend 3 jews to roll 3 socket and back to 2 socket until u get desired 3rdcolor socket, if you require 4th off color then do vorici 4 socket and back to 3, you can expediate this if you want to shell out for vorici 3 of one color cost.

Wait.. so using vorici craft it only removes/adds the last socket so the original colors stay the same?

Agreed. I've played this game for years, and I only found out about this in December. Make things SO MUCH easier.
