[3.x - Discontinued for now] Burning Spectres - Torch the Atlas - HC Shaper, Elder, Uber Atziri

Been playing in 3.4 since last week in DSC.
Playing at my own pace so haven't killed shaper or elder this league.
So far closed all white and yellow maps without uber trial nodes without any troubles (not even reading the modifiers map). Got some MF gear to goof around along with 75/75 block with BO and Rumi flask.

This build is still strong AF. Probably not the fastest out there but is definitely a solid one.

This build is still strong. I'm using Solar Guard, they destroy everything.

I'm a bit of a PoE neophyte despite my 1000 hours in game. I've never designed my own build for instance. Mainly because I'm totally happy playing a well thought out build that allows me to focus on what I'm fighting, and what I'm looting without endlessly stressing over what decisions I made in the build blah, blah, blah. And that's just my style. I played this build a couple leagues back, and i love it, but I don't have a great deal of familiarity with the build. Or with how to adapt the build. So for hopeless plebs like me, I was hoping someone else in the community would continue updating the build because I guess Natt is done with it? I didn't read the reason why because there's over 500 pages I don't know which one states that the build is dead, or discontinued, or whatever.

So yeah, would love to play the build if anyone decides to help out with that, thanks.

Natt seemed to discontinue the build guide assuming the pending changes coming into this league was going to all but bury or ruin the build. He had no idea that the changes to the skill tree, minions, minion items, minion item crafting and other changes in general were actually going to skyrocket this build back to it's original completely OP high standard and then actually make it way better.

Looks like we have a new Spectre shield to play with in the coming new season, guys:

Darn, I should have linked my items before I sold it. What made this league better for summoners was a few things:

1) Delve-specific minion mods. Especially +1 spectre boots and +% minion damage weapons.
2) Minion attack speed also applies to you, which makes whirling blade so much better.
3) Access to level 83 delve areas all the time, so it wasn't a big deal to swap spectres. Basically I ran 4 Solar Guards and full MF items for everything except Uber Elder.

Here's some crazy Delve items I had before I switched to the OP VD Zerphi Poet's Pen.



I also had a near perfect rolled, corrupted 20% spell block Stone of Lazhwar, but I sold it for a few exalts already.

I am curious about the defenses part. What do you max out except ele resistances? I've tried block\spell block this league but I need to sustain both Bone offering and Rubi's to have max block (I am kind of lazy to do it :( ). It wasnt the best experience, but the damage and ease of the content kind of diminish the block problems for me.

I had way over 75 attack block, but I think around 68 spell block fully buffed. I can't remember 100%.

I got very high attack block, because my weapon gave 6%, Red Nightmare gave 9%, and my shield gave 33%.

For spell block, I got 20% from a corrupted Stone of Lazhwar, 12% from my shield, and I took 3 nodes to get to Mind Barrier, which gives a total of 10% spell block. I didn't use any Reckless Defense jewels.

Aside from the obvious life and resists, I prioritized life regeneration which really helps tankiness. I also had a double clarity Watcher's Eye that gave me like 2k ES (18% of max mana to ES) and 20% mana gained on hit, which basically instantly filled my mana whenever I got hit, so I didn't have to run a mana flask.

Anyway, I sold it all for my current OP char, hobbes_the_poet lol.
