I realised that the spectre's base damage is already perfectly fine (around 1mil) and that with a 5th spectre, you could go with Slave Driver #5 or a Carnage Chieftain for frenzy charges (just like melee minion builds do). This gives the players the choice of easy DPS (SD #5) or semi-reliable big DPS (Chieftain).

With regards to Poacher's Mark, I specifically avoided it because it only gave benefit during mapping because it gives charges on kill. It's also completely overkill in mapping. For most bossing encounters, either the boss melts or there aren't enough adds to give meaningful charges.

Hi there,

this might very well be a complete noob question, but...
I was trying to dive into crafting (playing for 2 years now but always preferred buying over crafting) and thought I'd craft myself a nice convoking wand.
I took a lvl 84 convoking wand and tried the fossil method first with bound fossils, but didn't get anything near decent. So I started spamming with alterations. After 500+ alts I never even once saw the + 1 lvl to all minion gems, but what I was really wondering ... how do you guys get such high increased minion damage on the wands? The highest I ever saw while spamming was around 50% and I keep seeing wands with 100+ increased damage. Am I missing a special method here?

It's pure luck. 100+ is actually two mods. You can get a ~80% primary mod and a ~20% hybrid mana/dmg mod. Bound fossils just increase the roll chance, but it's still rng. I don't particularly like the alt method because it increases the chance for rubbish caster mods.

Also, use a low level wand. I've had better luck with mid 70s wands and I've spoken to other summoners, who had the same luck. i80+ seems like a noob trap.

I'm currently using the wand and shield version (awesome work kayella btw!!)
Is there way to optimized the build to put this jewell or its better sell it to get a nice helmet ?
