This might be an novice question, but I was wondering if the slayer ascendancy could work with this build. I feel that I might be more secure with Vaal pact with endless hunger and brutal favor. I feel that my extremely budget gear and lacking access to uniques limits my defensive capabilities. If I cannot max out my resistances or armor ratings I would hope to sustain life leech so I can whirlblade around the map during tough fights I cannot facetank. No matter what I do I cannot seem to beat Doedre (level 63 btw).
