I would say it depends on what the phases are. If you get a tough Izaro (curses/charges for instance), you might still get one shot with 6K, but with all the ES in the tree and the ease to gear, you will be able to get more than 6K very easily. But on an easy day, 6K should be enough to comfortably farm uber lab, you will just have to be extra careful on hard days :)

But then again, I have never really farmed uber lab, so if anyone who plays the build wants to share their uber lab experience, feel free to do so!

As mentioned by other people before me, this is not the fastest build to clear maps, but the Atoll video was one of the first I recorded, so I was still clunky on my Convocation management and other small gameplay mechanics, so you can be quicker than that. I decided to keep it up to show a "worse case scenario", because I would rather have people have a good surprise of what clear speed can be than a bad surprise of what it is when you don't manage your Convocation. But once again, you can be faster than I was in that early video, and will be with practice; and the speed, lower than a wander or a flicker, is in my opinion compensated by the fact that every boss is a breeze and that you will virtually never die.

Are you sure you have checked "Enemy hit by Cold Damage" in PoB config tab ?
Then again, I don't know your full setup, so maybe it is indeed a loss of 100k for you.

Aayway, this setup is all because I'm playing only in SSF !

Which means that getting a 6L Quill Rain will be a huge problem for me. Yes, I know the trick of Porcupine Divination Cards + Chance orbs, but I can not fully rely on this.

Therefore, I will go and try the "Spell way", by using "The Whispering Ice" which is the easiest 7L in the game (only need 6 sockets).

So I will poison with "Icestorm", and in this configuration, I have found it is better to go "Elemental Equilibrium" and Elemental gems :-)

I'd love to have your feedback on this idea. If you are interested, I can always share a PoB !

Ahhh the SSF BTW way hehe. that makes sense..sure throw in your PoB ill check it out maybe even try it out in standard real quick for ya if its only the staff and some gems that you got diffrent and see how it performs

2 trees, whether I will be able to farm "Astramentis" amulet or not (there's a Divination Card for it), which would allow to respec 6 points of Str/Dex Requirements

And 2 Whispering Ice staves, a map clear setup : Icestorm Selfcast with Spell Cascade and a boss setup : Wither/Winter Orb/Scorching Ray/Blight/Vaal Blight (still unsure for the channeling spell) Cast While Channeling

Ok so tried your wither whispering ice combo. It works ok, i cleared crimson temple and carcass maps np. HoA still one shots almost everything and keeping viru on on packs is easy. On single boss it barely maintins viru stacks at 40 if you are casting all the time but the damage is ok to get you the kill so clearing red maps is no problem. The downside is you lose the faster start of ES recharge and that means you have to play more cautiously. if i took the watchers eye that would have been even worse so that means you are mapping and bossing slower because you run for your recharge.

I think it hits almost 600k shaper dps(EDIT 660k with 15 wither stacks), i used incandescent heart for easier coloring got about 9.5k ES only took a +30 dex node and got 9 mana free.
Check the build with gear on it and tweak it as you like

Thank you very much for your tests.

For not achieving 40 stacks of Virulence, that's because you only had a low level Cast While Channeling (which goes from 1 cast of Icestorm every 0.45sec to every 0.35sec at level 20). And you kept your passive tree (which I understand) where I took some increased duration nodes, for maximizing the duration of the Icestorms (and thus more hits).

For the faster start of ES recharge, then again, by playing SSF, I have no real alternatives : I am not sure to loot "Soul Strike" quiver and I am even less sure to get a Faster Start ES Watcher's Eye !!

Do you have any other comments/feedback on the passive tree/skills/anything ?

Build is fine and well thought-out there is nothing really to altenate..Small things maybe like instead of hex-master some more es regen in Growth and decay since we are slow on the start of the recharge to have some better QoL or maybe Alchemist..But that is just nit-picking and it really comes down to testing it leveling and playing with it what is best..But in theory you got a nice SSF starter build that can go far into the league.

I hope you have a great time with it and good luck with betrayal to you too.

Leveling with this is absolutely awful. Have a quill rain, level 22, and that's it. Following the build path directly.

Level 34 now and it's still pretty awful feeling to play.

Level 50 and all pretty good.
